Hyunjoo P.O.V

It was monday again the most dreaded day in the week. Joshua left yesterday after eating breakfast and I couldn't sleep the whole night. I kept thinking about how comfortably I slept in his arms and how this will never happen again.
„What happened to you?" Seulbi asked.
„Nothing. Just didn't sleep well." I said.
„Me too."
„How is your mom now?"
„Fine. I am sorry that I couldn't help you."
„Don't apologize your mom is more important." she smiled at me and gave me a hug.
„Good morning." I didn't realize that Joshua was standing there.
„I told you to stay at home and rest." I said to him.
„I am fine now don't worry."
„Were you sick?" Seulbi asked and Joshua nodded. Before she could say anything Seungcheol sat down next to her and he had all her attention now.

„I am losing my friend to him." I shook my head and Joshua laughed.
„What about you?" Joshua asked.
„What do you mean?"
„Don't you have someone you are interested in?"
I didn't expect this question at all. It made me hold my pen tighter while trying to act normally.
„N-no I don't. I don't have time for relationships." I just said.
„I see." is all he said while playing around with his pencil.
„When I think about it when you also start dating Sora I will be totally on my own. Guess I should start searching for new friends." I don't know why I said that maybe I just like to make myself suffer.

„You won't be alone. I will stick with you until you are sick and tired of me."
„Yeah sure just start dating once you won't even look in my direction." I said it with a smile but it hurted a lot.

After class we wanted to eat at the cafeteria but when we walked out of the class we saw Sora walking by.
„Hi Joshua." she said and he smiled and greeted her back. I hate myself for being this childish but I couldn't do this.
„You guys talk I will go ahead." I said.
„Wait Hyunjoo."
„Joshua can we talk?" is all I heard. I am the one who walked away but I was hoping for Joshua to come after me. I am such a child.

Joshua P.O.V

I walked out with her and sighed. I could have spent this time with Hyunjoo but now I am here.
„What do you want? I think I told you I won't become friends with a girl."
„I understood that. So I want to tell you I will try everything to make you like me. I really like you a lot. I know you don't like me but I will change that."
„You sound really convinced. But sorry to tell you. I will never fall for you. I already told you that I like Hyunjoo so why are you doing this?"
„She isn't even that special what do you like about her? She used to hate you so much."
„So what? I like her I never expected anything in return for my feelings. I like her because she is Hyunjoo it will never be anyone beside her." I walked away and entered the cafeteria when I saw Hyunjoo.

„Who the hell is that?" I asked Seungcheol who was looking in the same direction.
„You are here? That guy has been laughing around with those two since forever. I really want to pull him out of there." Seungcheol said and my eyes widened when I saw him grabbing Hyunjoo's hand.
„That bastard wants to die." I was about to walk over but the boys stopped me.
„I know you want to beat him up but you can't do that."Seungkwan said.
They dragged me out.

„Everything is going wrong today."
„Don't get so worked up maybe they are just friends." Woozi said.
„He is right." Jeonghan said and Seungcheol and I looked at each other and sighed.
„You guys won't understand us." Seungcheol said and put his arm around me.
„Let's go drink I will buy." he said and I nodded.

Life without work is so amazing🤩 can't it always be like that? 😪
