Aiah, Jhoana, and Mikha were busy packing their bags in the BINI room. The last week's meeting with Director Lauren and his team had finalized plans for their upcoming vlog in Palawan next week. Director Lauren believed it would create a buzz among viewers, potentially attracting fans before both Reverie and BINI released their debut singles.
"What's up with the beef between you and Y/N, Aiah?" Jhoanna asked, folding some clothes.
Aiah raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Huh?"
"You're always bickering with each other," Sheena chimed in, emerging from the bathroom.
"Oh, it was nothing serious," Aiah dismissed, though her groupmates weren't entirely convinced. Mikha, especially, felt a twinge of discomfort. The simmering tension between Aiah and Y/N, coupled with the whispers circulating around the camp, made her uneasy. Since catching a glimpse of Aiah during the auditions, Mikha had a secret admiration for the girl. Now, she felt a pang of possessiveness, silently vying for Aiah's attention.
"Let's not talk about it," Mikha interjected, hoping to steer the conversation away from Y/N. "Aiah probably doesn't want to talk about it anyway."
Aiah offered Mikha a grateful smile and a friendly pat on the shoulder, causing the latter to blush.
Maloi and Colet popped their heads into the room. "Anyone up for a night swim? The Reverie are going to sing on the patio by the pool!"
"Sounds good," the girls agreed, except for Mikha. "I think I'll hit the bed," she announced.
"Sure you're okay with that?" Aiah questioned.
Mikha nodded, her reasons unspoken. Seeing Aiah watch Y/N perform filled her with a strange mix of jealousy and anxiety. Aiah, on the other hand, had a different motive for joining the poolside gathering – making fun of Y/N seemed to be in order.

As they stepped outside, Stacey and Gwen were already claiming their spots on the outdoor couch. Donny was busy setting up his drums, while Zild and Y/N tackled plugging their guitars and bass into the amp.
The BINI girls joined Stacey and Gwen on the couch. Apparently, Syd had a sore throat and was catching some rest in their room. Y/N would be taking over the vocals for the night.
"Hey everyone!" Zild's voice boomed through the microphone. "So, I know some of you might not understand Tagalog – " he gestured playfully towards the BINI members, who all shook their heads while laughing along. " – ah hindi kayo? baka si Y/N?"
"Pero ito yung first performance namin as a band, unfortunately wala si Syd dahil sa sore throat kaya si Y/N ang vocalist ngayon" Zild informed the audience; BINI girls.
Zild's gaze landed on you, who were still kneeling and fiddling with the guitar amp. "What's up, Y/N?" he chuckled thinking that you didn't understand anything that he said in Tagalog.
"Don't worry about him," Donny chimed in, amusement lacing his voice.
"Actually, I can understand Tagalog perfectly well," you pointed out. "I grew up here, you know." You glanced at Stacey with a playful smirk. "What? You won't defend me my dear cousin?"
Stacey's laughter echoed through the patio, quickly joined by Aiah's because she enjoyed everyone ganging up on you.
"Alright, I'm ready to go," you announced to Zild. He gave you a friendly pat on the back, a silent apology for the earlier teasing.
"For the record," you addressed everyone in the mic, "I understand and speak Tagalog just fine."
"We get it, superstar," Aiah quipped, rolling her eyes. You countered with a raised middle finger, eliciting a shocked reaction from Zild and Donny. The BINI girls, however, just dissolved into laughter at your playful exchange.
