You and Aiah made your way back to Donny's unit. You entered first, coming face-to-face with Stacey lounging on a chair near the front door. "Where have you been?" she inquired as soon as you entered the unit.
"Uh, just took a walk," you stammered, hoping Aiah wouldn't walk in any minute and expose your secret pact. Stacey, oblivious, let out a sigh of relief.
A moment later, Aiah entered the apartment. Stacey's gaze darted between you two, a knowing smirk spreading across her face.
"What's going on here?" she asked, her tone laced with amusement.
You fumbled for words, scratching your nape nervously. Aiah, however, seemed more at ease. She chuckled and reached for your hand, squeezing it gently.
"You can tell her, Y/N," she said, her voice firm.
Stacey's eyes widened. "Sooo?" she pressed, eager for an answer.
Taking a deep breath, you announced, "We're official."
Stacey's jaw dropped. "OMG! I knew it!" she squealed, leaping up and engulfing you both in a tight hug. "Congrats, guys!" she exclaimed, her face beaming with excitement.
After the celebratory outburst, Stacey retreated back to your room to resume her slumber. Left alone, you headed to the balcony, hoping to get some practice on that troublesome rap part for your Hamilton script.
Aiah followed you out, her presence a source of comfort. She silently wrapped her arms around you as you sorted through your script.
You couldn't help but tease her playfully. "Sweet ka pala," you remarked, feeling the warmth of her embrace.
Aiah let out a soft chuckle. "So," she began, "do we tell the girls about it?"
You turned to face her, and she nodded in response. "Are you comfortable with that?" you confirmed.
"Definitely," she replied, a confident smile gracing her lips. "I trust them. And you can tell your bandmates too, of course."
With a shared smile, you and Aiah walked back into the living room. The script lay forgotten on the table as you both settled onto the empty couch, side by side. The room seemed to fade away, leaving only the two of you and the comfortable silence. Wrapping your arm around her, a wave of nostalgia washed over you. You missed this - the simple intimacy of just being with her.
The morning sun peeked through the blinds, casting a soft glow across the living room where you and the BINI girls had spent a restless night. The excitement of recording your collaboration project vibrated in the air, masking the underlying tension of your newfound secret with Aiah.
You and your band, arrived at BrightLight Studios first, greeted by the familiar warmth of the staff. Ascending to the designated recording floor, you were met by your manager, his usual stern demeanor softened by a hint of amusement.
"Well, well," he chuckled, gesturing towards the BINI girls nestled comfortably on the couch. "Looks like someone forgot to mention their lovely guests were staying over."
A blush crept up your neck as you exchanged a playful glance with Donny, who smirked knowingly. He'd been the one to suggest letting the BINI girls stay the night after their late rehearsal.
"Sorry po," Maloi piped up. "We were running late and..."
"And Donny and Y/N was too busy playing the perfect host, I presume?" your manager interrupted with a playful glare.
"We were just about to cook breakfast," you stammered, defending yourself.
"Hold that thought," your manager interjected, whipping out his phone. "Seems breakfast is on me today. Grab should be here any minute."
