The celebratory mood lingered in the air as you and your bandmates – Zild, Syd, and Donny – settled into BINI's spacious living room for a well-deserved post-recording nightcap. Two grueling days of songwriting followed by a long recording session had left everyone drained but exhilarated. You sprawled comfortably on the couch, some of your bandmates opting for the floor while Maloi emerged from the pantry, brandishing three bottles of vodka.

Syd's face contorted in a mock grimace as she spotted the bottles. "Vodka?" she exclaimed, her voice laced with playful apprehension. You chuckled – you and your bandmates knew all too well about Syd's unfortunate aversion to vodka, a truth usually punctuated by a less-than-pleasant experience the next morning.

Mikha patted Syd's shoulder sympathetically. "Don't worry, Sweetie," she reassured, "we can find something else for you to drink."

A nudge from Aiah sent a jolt through you. You glanced down at your girlfriend, still marveling at the unfamiliar yet wonderful title. "See what I see?" she whispered, a playful glint in her eyes.

You followed her gaze to Mikha and Syd watching the interaction between Mikha and Syd. Syd's request for "Y/N's gin" sent a silent message, and you both averted your eyes, trying to appear nonchalant despite the rising heat in your cheeks.

Mikha, oblivious to the unspoken exchange, readily offered, "Y/N, pwede ka ba magmake ng gin?"

You nodded in agreement, a sly smile playing on your lips as Mikha disappeared into the pantry in search of the necessary ingredients. You knelt before the coffee table, grabbing your lighter from your pocket.

Aiah poked your shoulder. "Bakit ka may lighter?" she asked while raising an eyebrow.

Heat flooded your face as you stammered, "Uh, well..." You and your bandmates occasionally indulged in a cigarette after a particularly grueling gig.

Aiah's gaze hardened, her raised eyebrow morphing into a glare. "Mamaya ka sa akin," she mouthed silently, a playful threat that sent shivers down your spine in a way that had nothing to do with the vodka or gin.

Shaking off your momentary fear, you focused on preparing the drink. You poured the juice into the gin bottle, gave it a good shake, and then, with a practiced flick of your wrist, ignited the lighter. A small blue flame danced atop the bottle's neck.

Sheena piped up, "Wait, bakit sinisindihan yung gin?"

Zild chuckled, taking it upon himself to explain. "It's really to burn some of the alcohol off," he said, "but mostly for show."

Sheena nodded in understanding, her wide eyes reflecting the fascination of a child. You rose to your feet, setting the gin bottle on the table before rinsing your hands in the kitchen sink.

As you turned back, Aiah met your gaze, her eyes sparkling with a mix of pleasure and affection. "And who told you na iinom ka?" she teased, her playful jab laced with a hint of concern.

You pouted at her, "Please?" Aiah laughed and nod her head.

The first rays of dawn peeked through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. You stirred, the warmth of the bed a welcome contrast to the cool morning air. A gentle pressure on your arm drew your attention, and you looked down to see Aiah's peaceful form nestled beside you. Her head rested gently on your bicep, her soft breaths a calming rhythm against the quiet hum of the city waking up.

A smile tugged at your lips as you watched her sleep. The memory of yesterday, of the shared secrets and newfound freedom, filled you with a warmth that radiated deep within. Just having her there, a quiet presence next to you, brought a sense of contentment you hadn't experienced before.
