The nervous energy backstage crackles in the air. You, adorned in the opulent pink gown of Angelica Schuyler, pace back and forth, humming a melody from the first act under your breath. Aiah, her face glowing with pride, squeezes your hand reassuringly.

"Don't be nervous, Y/N. Kaya mo yan!" she whispers, her voice warm and steady. "Just breathe and own that stage like you always do."

Taking a deep breath, you inhale the calming scent of Aiah's lavender perfume. From the other side of the thin curtain, a muffled hush falls over the audience. The prompt echoes through the backstage area - "Act I, Scene One."

With a final squeeze from Aiah, you take your position in the wings. The spotlight slices through the darkness, illuminating the opening scene of the musical.

"How does a bastard, orphan, son of a whore..."

In the front row, your family sits enthralled. Your mom dabs at her eyes with a tissue, a radiant smile breaking through the tears. Your dad leans forward, captivated by your transformation. Even Saoirse who's usually energetic sits mesmerized, her eyes wide with awe.

As the music swells, you launch into your first number, your voice soaring through the theater. You deliver Angelica's lines with a powerful presence, capturing her character's wit and unwavering determination. In the balcony seats, Donny, Syd, and Zild cheer wildly after each song, their enthusiasm echoing through the rafters.

Across the stage, you interact with the other actors, your every move radiating Angelica's fiery spirit and intelligence. From her seat in the audience, Aiah watches with a mix of pride and excitement. Every powerful line, every captivating song, solidifies her admiration for your talent.

Sitting beside Aiah is Stacey, your cousin. Unlike Aiah, who knew about the play beforehand, Stacey's jaw hangs slack in surprise. She'd come to make fun of you, but witnessing your captivating performance on stage is an unexpected delight.

"Wow," Stacey whispers to Aiah, her eyes glued to you. "I never knew Y/N could act like that! She's incredible!"

Aiah grins, her heart swelling with pride. You steal a glance across the room, meeting Aiah's gaze. Her smile shines brighter than the stage lights, and she offers a thumbs up, mouthing a silent "You're so good!"

The other BINI girls, Maloi, Colet, Gwen, Mikha, Sheena, and Jhoanna are also captivated by the performance. They watch with a mix of surprise and support, their cheers blending with the thunderous applause after each act.

During the intermission, a flurry of excited chatter fills the backstage area. Your family rushes to your side, enveloping you in a warm hug.

"Ate Y/N, you're awesome!" Saoirse exclaims, bouncing on the balls of her feet. "You were like a queen singing all those songs" She said making you laugh.

Your mom wipes away another tear, her voice thick with emotion. "Honey, I had no idea you had this talent inside you. We're so proud of you!"

Your dad, a flicker of pride in his eyes, offers a rare smile. "You were very convincing, Y/N. Well done."

You beam, your heart overflowing with love and gratitude. The second act flies by in a swift of powerful vocals, intricate dance numbers, and emotional crescendos. By the time the final curtain falls, the audience erupts in a standing ovation. Tears well up in your eyes as you take a bow, the overwhelming feeling of accomplishment washing over you.

Backstage, the atmosphere is electric. Hugs are exchanged, congratulations are showered, and tears of joy are shed. Your family and friends crowd around you, each offering their own unique brand of praise and adoration.
