The week had finally passed and it was time for Cypher and Winter to return to Remnant. Luckily during the few remaining days, the Doctor was able to conclude that the crack in space-time didn't come from the ION Gateway which was a sigh of relief for Cypher but still worrisome due to a part of Phobos' metal on Azrael.
However, Winter convinced him not to worry as he'll cross the bridge when he comes to it. The Doctor had also upgraded the ION Gateway so now Cypher could choose the time, date, and location. Lastly, Winter's and Cypher's relationship had grown a little. Whenever they were alone they'd cuddle or plant kisses on each other's cheeks or foreheads. That was as far as they took it as they wanted to take it slow.
"Well, this is goodbye," the Doctor said as he and Bill stood in front of the open ION Gateway. The Doctor had also made the ION Gateway more fuel-efficient and stable so the Stellar Engine wouldn't explode when pushed too far.

"Yeah, but it was super cool meeting you two and seeing what the future is like!" Bill said happily. "We may meet again someday, but we'll have to see," Cypher said with a smile. Winter nodded once in agreement, "Farewell,"
"Oh, but a little warning," Cypher said, "Doctor, you do turn blind in one of your adventures. I won't say how or when as I don't want to change your timeline too much,". "Thanks for the warning," the Doctor replied with a smirk before entering the ION Gateway. Bill followed and it closed behind her.
