~4 days later, Luca's birthday~
~A little party among the crew, Luca got alcohol to have a fun time. Logan and Patton refused to drink, Luca and Remus get wasted, Luca out of wanting to 'just because' and Remus to numb pain. Roman gets really drunk, Janus and Vivian only get tipsy~
~Logan's P.O.V~

"Luca you're going to break your neck," I sighed.

"You, you don't know that," he said, tripping over the edge of the carpet.

"Dumbass," Vivian snorted.

"Langu- ...There's no point tonight is there?" Patton asked me.

"Nope. Luca getting drunk only means trouble," I stated, sitting in the corner of the couch to supervise.

"The TV has YouTube if you want to do karaoke," Janus said.

"You bitch," Vivian snapped.

"Oh yeah, oh yeah! Pat please? Please, please, please?" Luca begged Patton.

"...Why beg me?" Patton asked.

"He's your bitch," Roman wheezed.

"You've officially had to much," I said, glaring.

"Well no point in asking, Remus already has something up," Vivian said.

I faded out of the conversation, focusing on my book. I heard the others singing to random songs in pairs or solo, Luca and Roman were really loud with whatever song either of them chose.

Roman started to loudly sing some Disney song with Janus. Luca had gotten another drink, cuddling with Patton in one of the arm chairs. Vivian laughed and clapped at whoever sang. With one glance around the room, I realized Remus was no where to be seen now.

"Hm," I hummed, shutting my book and walking out to the kitchen.

"Remus?" I said, going into the dining room. Quickly, I went quiet when seeing him hunched over the end of the table.

"Hi pretty lady," he grinned, having a shot of whiskey in front of him.

"What are you doing out here?" I asked, sitting by him. He snorted.

"It hurts," he laughed. I tilted my head.

"What?" I asked.

"It hurts. You have no clue," he kept laughing. His voice shook and his laugh sounded so empty though.

"What are you talking about?" I asked him. He looked at me, tears in his eyes.

"Oh pretty ladyyyy... you wouldn't understand," he sighed. The way he said pretty lady was if he was wasted enough to not remember my face.

"I can try and understand," I said, leaning against the table. He started to laugh again, this time tears falling.

"My brother and I love the same damn girl. I've loved her since day 1, when I saw her and when she dropped that kid. Something told me she was perfect... Then, I learned my brother loved her too! I... want to give her up because no one would want to date a crook. I didn't mean to cause his death. I was just forced to take his damn watch... I didn't even realize the stairs were there... Anyways... She's perfect, and it's so hard to let her go. She doesn't seem to want to date anyone anyways, and it hurts to think that Roman might be hurt just as much as I am now," he explained, pouring another shot of whiskey after downing the one he had.

"...You and Roman love the same girl?" I asked. I wasn't going to push the other part of his record... Not now.

"I guess she's that perfect. She's gorgeous, tough, smart... I've thought it so many times and I can hide how I feel. Roman can't... How can I let a girl like that go?" he asked.

"...I don't," I started.

"Her name is fitting also... Roman says it's long, but I say it fits her," he chuckled. I narrowed my eyes, realizing it sounded familiar.

"Really?" I asked.

"Logan is just so perfect... I want to let her go for Roman, and for my own sake, but I can't," he huffed. It felt like my heart dropped down 30 stories.

"...Logan. You and Roman... love the same girl, and she's... Logan," I said slowly.

"Yeah. It's not just her looks and strength though... She's protective, mostly of herself and her brother, but she gets very protective of her friends too. She's smart with words, can say anything and make it so... fancy? I dunno.." he started explaining.

"Remus! We got your favorite song! Come on!" Janus hollered from the living room.

"Oo, coming!" he hollered.

"...Good luck with your girl issue," I muttered.

"Thanks, I'll need the luck," he said, shining me a grin before downing his second shot of whiskey before rushing toward the living room.

"...Oh god," I whispered, leaning back in my chair.

Oh... oh god...
