Husk was on his way to his casino. When he saw something small slowly crossing the road. Cars were coming on either side of the road and they were coming fast.

He swooped down and grabbed the all too firmilar pig, upon the closer glance he realized it a bit too late that cars were still coming. He tuck and rolled, a car clipped his leg and he was limping a little but, overall he was fine.

"The hell you doing withou-" Husk wondered to himself

"NUGGS!" yelled an all too firmilar voice.

Husk turned to face the voice, his eyes met Angeldust's, as he walked across the street. He handed Angel his pig.

The spider was relieved his beloved pet was safe. He looked at the cat demon, his eyes furrowed as he snatched his pig from Husk grabbed his bag and walked, away without a thank you.

Husk rubbed the back of his neck and sighed. Mentally fighting with himself.

Do I go after him? He wondered.

No, he doesn't want to see you. Husk told himself.

His body and his brain weren't on the same wave length because not only did he follow Angeldust he cought up to him too.

He rubbed the back of his neck before speaking.

"Ya look good Angel." Husk stated, in passing he didn't want to annoy the spider so he just kept walking.

Angeldust stopped dead in his tracks, wondering if the asshole was joking or not.

"For a crackhead?" Angeldust asked with a snarky tone.

Husk rolled his eyes. And turned around to face the spider.

"Seriously? It's the first time I've seen you in what? Five years? I can't give ya a passing compliment?"

Angel corssed his free arms over his chest floof.  His phone buzzed in his pocket but he ignored it.

"Not long enough." Angel stated. He turned his nose up as he spoke, but he opened one eye to see Husk's reaction.

Husk took a swig from his flask, as he walked away. Angeldust raised an eyebrow.

"Still a drunk, I see." He insulted.

Husk turned around and walked backwards.

"Still an addict?"  Husk wondered. Though he wasn't trying to be an asshole but, Angel went there so, he did too.

"Funny." Angeldust said in an angry tone. He was pissed off.

"Look, I didn't mean to start anything. I was on my way to the casino, and I saw him in the road. My bad, for saving his life."

Angeldust rolled his eyes.

"Well thanks." He said still annoyed by Husk's presence.

Husk looked the spider up and down. He had a duffle bag that looked like it was packed to the brim and everything would spill out of it, the minute Angel opened it. He raised an eyebrow.

"Where the hell ya going?" He wondered.

The spider shrugged, he was annoyed with the cat's presence.

"Any place I can get a dime."

His phone continued buzzing nonstop. Angel scoffed rolling his eyes.
Husk shook his head.

"You're still seein' that prick?" Husk asked.

Angel sighed and facepalmed with a half closed fist. He and Husk sat on a near by bench. He held his persona though.

"Not that it's your business but, We're togetha now." Angel informed. It wasn't a total lie in technicality.

Husk raised an eyebrow. He didn't think Angeldust's was that stupid. He sighed. It wasn't his place to judge.

"Really?" He asked watching the spider nod. "How's that going?" He asked curiously.

Angeldust didn't look at him. "oh it's great." He said in an over enthusiastic tone. Husk saw right through it.

He took another swig from his flask.

"Mhm." He nodded.

There was a pause while he took another swig.

"He owns you doesn't he?"

Angeldust looked as furious as he now was. He stood up turned to face the cat getting in his face and poking him in the chest as he spoke.

"My affairs are NONE of YOUR business!" He shouted before storming off with the pig and the duffle bag.

Husk sighed. He didn't go after him this time. He was already running late. He sighed. He longed for the day he and Angel talked shit out, today wasn't that day though. He didn't even know if they'd see each other again.  He took to the sky to make his commute to his casino shorter.
