Music's been playing for a few hours but Anthony just started dancing now that he finally greeted everyone be wanted to greet. He danced along with Mia, Jordyn and a few of the other guests at the party. His eyes however latched onto Husk's who didn't seem to be having a fun time. The spider knew why. Be excused himself from dancing and made his way over to the alcoholic who seemed to be hiding from the crowd.

Anthony sat on a rock next to him he pulled his knees to his chest. He raised one hand with an open palm.

"You 'on't have to stay out here. I know it's a lot." The spider assured knowing the cat demon didn't really do big crowds.

Husk removed the bottle of booze from his lips, and shook his head.

"Fuck that. It's your birthday!" He stated.

The spider chuckled and rested his head on Husk's shoulder. The cat demon took another swig from the bottle.

"Don't have a panic attack on me, old  man." He warned.

Anthony stood up and extended one of his many hands to the cat demon who took it the two ran off and started dancing together. Husk was a little more uncomfortable but he calmed down once he realized nobody was looking at him anyway. He downed the last of his booze and danced with the the spider. They pulled each other close and backed away but continued to hold each other's hands as the danced.

It felt as if they were the only two in the crowd. The spider giggled as they danced together. Husk had a grin on his face just enjoying that Anthony was genuinely happy in the moment.

"And I don't wanna give it up!

You caught me in a moment of redemption. There's nothing to explain
You had me on the edge of indiscretion,"

Everyone was dancing but, they were the only two slow dancing. Anthony couldn't help but, sing along.

"You said you feel the same. The sweetness of you on my tongue. I breathed you in, you filled my lungs. A bitter taste, surrender waste Another weakness. You and me are like drugs and candy!" He pointed at husk with his index finger as he sang 'you', he pointed to himself with his thumb as he sang 'me'; while he and the fluffy, winged demon sang.

"Take one down for the young and easy! Ahh ahhah" The spider didn't sing but he pointed to himself confidently with all four hands. "You've got me out of my head I fill the space in your bed! High on the beat of a breakdown! 'Cause you and me are like drugs and candy! drugs and candy!"

Husk twirled Anthony back to him this time. The spider kissed his cheek once, he was wrapped in Husk's arms. They swayed a bit as the song slowly ended.

Everyone ate either snacks or some of the food Cherribomb cooked and then went back to dancing about an hour passed before she opened the box the cake came in. It was a chocolate cake but the frosting was black and had pink spider web details instead of flowers and "Happy Birthday Angie!" Was written in pink frosting, in a fancy font. She put an unknown amount of candles on it. And lit them. Everyone immediately gathered around, Anthony made his way to the table with Husk as everyone started to sing to him.  He blew out the candles cut the first slice of cake for himself and took a seat. Everyone else helped themselves to cake as well.

Everything felt like it was going too well.

Anthony's work started ringing. He groaned but, he answered it.

"Fuck Val, what?! 's muh damn birthday!" He groaned into the phone, not even greeting the moth.

Valentino didn't give a fuck.
