Angeldust took the next day off from work needing to process all the information from his conversation with Husk. He didn't even tell Valentino he wasn't available.

Currently it was late March, Cherribomb had been planning Angel's birthday party since the day he appeared in her apartment. Mia Jordyn and Andre had gone home at some point last night. She knocked on Angel's door wanting to check on him. Fat Nuggets pushed the open wanting breakfast. As the door opened, she saw the Angel with his head on Husk's chest and the cat demon was softly snoring with his arms around the spider and she did her damnedest not to gush loudly. She didn't  want to disturb them.

She decided it would be best to keep her comments to herself for now, after how serious last night was, she thought it wasn't a good time to tease him. Husk probably only stayed because, he was worried. She went into the kitchen and went under the sink where Angel kept the bag of Fat Nuggets' food, and filled his bowl. The she dumped out the water that was left over from yesterday and rinsed out the bowl before putting fresh water in it. She decided to surprise them by getting breakfast from a burrito place down the street. She wasn't going to drive but, she took her keys anyway so she could lock the door; since the two were still asleep.

Fat Nuggets monched on his food for twenty minutes and returned to the spider's room making loud snorting noises.

Who needs an alarm clock when you have a pig who needs attention 24/7? Angeldust groaned and rolled off of Husk stretching.

He sat up and lead down to pick up his pig groggily. Husk rubbed his face also groaning.

"Morning." Greeted the spider as he cuddled with the pig.

Husk grumbled cat sounds in response he had meant to say morning but, he was still far too tired to speak coherently.

The spider giggled.

"Husky?" The spider said like a question.

The cat demon sat up and yawned. "Hmn?" He asked tilting his head to the spider. He rubbed his face.

Anthony moved his hair out of his face, he licked his lips because they were dry.

"Are we still friends?" He asked.

Husk's eyebrows furrowed. He titled his head and then he realized what Angel meant.

"Well, what do you want us to be?" The cat wondered.

The spider shrugged, he sat Fat Nuggets down on the bed and leaned forward burying his face in his blankets.

"I don't knoooow!" He whined and groaned.

Husk chuckled awkwardly not really knowing how to respond. The spider sat back up but his his fave in his hands befo he turned and looked at Husk with a serious expression.

"I do love you, Its just- everyt'ing's a fuckin mess and I can't get outta this. I don't want him to hurt you, or them or Nuggets. It's why I lied to Cherribomb for so long, why I lied to all of them when I came back."

Husk put one of his hands on the spider's back and rubbed mall circles into it.

"It's okay. He ain't gonna hurt anyone Angie, I know you think you gotta throw yourself into a fire every time ya friends are in danger but, they all know how to take care of themselves. I can take care of myself. Quite honestly, I'm surprised you let him hurt, you." Husk stated.

Angeldust sat up and looked at him.

"It's not that I let him. He didn't abuse me this much, til after he had my soul. I don't fight back cause I literally can't fight back at work." He explained.

Husk raised an eyebrow. He didn't understand that very much. He was hoping Angel would explain more. He could the spider didn't like talking about it. He wrapped an arm around Angel's shoulders and rubbed the one his hand rested on. The spider took a deep breath and leaned into the cat demon's embrace. He finally spoke again.

"I didn't want him controlling everything in my life, so I told him if he wants my soul; He could have it but, only during the time I'm at the studio. I make my own schedules. I choose when I go. Sometimes he asks if I can come in on days I usually wouldn't but, it's all my choice.... until I'm in the studio." Anthony stated.

He blinked the tears away but the still.fell from his eyes. He wiped his face quickly and he sniffed. He gripped the blanket on his bed.

"When I leave is his to decide; and it's the worst fuckin clause in our deal. I thought I was doing myself a favor." He sighed.

Husk took a deep breath in. The arm around the spider's shoulder now went around his back as Husk wrapped his other arm around the spider who's head rested on one of his hands. Fat Nuggets found his way back into Angel's lap not liking that Anthony was sad.

"That doesn't answer my question." Husk chuckled.

Anthony did his best to hold in the smile, he failed miserably and also chuckled.

"Fuck off!" He groaned punching Husk's shoulder gently.

Husk stood up from the bed.

"Alright by-"

Anthony grabbed each of the cat's hands in two of his. Stopping him before he even got an inch away from the bed.

"Not actually, asshole!" He whined.

The cat demon chuckled and pulled the spider off the bed the spider held his ph with his lower set of hands so he didn't fall.

"I know, dumbass." The cat chuckled.

They left Angie's room, Cherri was on the couch watching TV and eating a burrito.

She opened her mouth to speak and Angeldust held up a finger.

"Not a fuckin word." He said seriously.

Cherri snickered.

"I was just gonna say good morning, Bitch. But, fuck you have a bad one!" She stated.

Angeldust groaned and rubbed his face, now he felt like a dick.

"Good morning. Ooooh burrito!!" He said grabbing one from the counter and walking over to his friend.

There was still one more on the counter Husk looked at Cherribomb and pointed to himself.

"No dipshit it's for the damn pig I fed before I left." She rolled her eye. "Yes it's for you!"

Husk took it from the counter and walked over to the couch. Cherribomb was in between him and Angie.

She took another bite of her burrito and swallowed it before she spoke.

"So you two are on cuddling terms now?" She asked.

Angeldust stopped chewing his eyes went wide as he looked at her. Husk hadn't even taken a bite of his burrito yet. His mouth immediately closed, his eyes narrowed in embarrassment.

Angel quickly swallowed the bite of burrito he had stopped chewing from shock.

"Wot?" He asked.

Cherri crossed her arms after she took the last bite of her breakfast burrito.

"Oh don't play stupid. I knocked on ya door to see if ya were alright, Nuggs ran out and there you are all up under his arm with ya head on his ch-"

The spider's face was so red.

"Damnit Nuggets!" He groaned.  Then he took another bite of his burrito.

Husk chuckled.

Angeldust caught her up to speed with the events of last night that she missed. Although he would have much rather not tell her that, she was right about Valentino giving him laced drugs from the very fuckin start. She was very pleased to hear that he finally told Husk how he felt and even better that.

They didn't really talk about what it meant any farther. It was obvious Anthony needed time to process still. Husk eventually had to leave, Alastor needed him, but he didn't mind too much cause he got to see an old friend of his a little more often than he was before.

He ended up taking a few more days off.
