Now if Husk was an asshole, maybe he would have lived up to Angel's expectations. Angel was far too used to the moth, he expected everyone to treat him shittily. Sometimes he thought he deserved it but he didn't dare let anyone but himself know that. He thought about running to Andre or Jordyn but Andre was in a whole other city, and Jordyn lived way to close to the studio Val was sure to fine him if he did, he could not let Cherri see him like this she don't even know who she'd be going after but she'd beat every motherfucker in her way til she found somebody who answered to the name of the moth.

His doorbell rang he never had guests so he thought it was odd he looked through the window and saw that it was Angeldust his eyebrows furrowed because the spider's car was outside and he lived way to far out of walking distance from Cherri's apartment. Angel was sweating and out of breath. His face was melting off.

He opened the door, his face fell even more than it already was.

The spider scratched his neck and looked down at the small demon.

"Hey uhhh, ya still got A-uhh couch I could crash on?" He asked awkwardly

Husk pulled him inside and shut the door.

"Angie what the hell?! Did you fuckin walk here?! Are you alright?" He asked as the spider plopped onto the couch with his knees to his chest.

Anthony nodded then, shook his head.

Husk ran a hand through his fur, he wasn't wearing his hat because he had just gotten home from the casino an hour ago. He went into the kitchen quickly grabbing himself, another bottle booze. He downed half of it on one gulp and sat it on the counter in the kitchen before he made his way into his living room and sat on the couch.

Angel couldn't produce words from how violently he had been hyperventilating.

The spider leaned onto Husk's shoulder.

"You need a hug?" The cat wondered.

Angeldust nodded. So the cat wrapped his arms around his friend as Angel continued to regulate his breathing.

His breathing eventually returned to normal he wiped his eyes forgetting about the pound of makeup covering the damage to his face.

Husk tilted his head looking at Angel as the spider sniffled. His eyebrows raised as his eyes widened. The cat's pupils dilated as well.

The spider sniffled, eventually pulling away from Husk. The cat demon let go of him as he sat up. Husk hated seeing him like this. Anthony deserved so much better, and he knew it too.

"Fuckin Christ, why did you walk?! What about your car?" He asked worried.

Angeldust bit his lip. He didn't want to answer any of these questions but he didn't want to stay silent either.

"Totaled." Was all he said.

Husk raised an eyebrow. That car meant the world to Anthony.

Angel could tell he was curious, he knew Husk wouldn't ask though. He also wouldn't tell a soul.

"Uhh, Val crashed it the day before we crossed paths. I took off for six months. Nobody knew where I was." He stated. He crossed his top arms over his chest and his lower ones around his waist.
Then he laughed, needing to find humor in the situation.  "I came back, he was pissed. Threw shit at me, took my keys and crashed my car."

Husk's jaw dropped his ears drooped and he seemed to be shaking. He was livid.

"Lemme guess you didn't tell any of them, none of that? Didn't bother trying to get help?" He asked.

Angel ran and hand through his hair hugging his knees tightly. Giving Husk his answer. He looked at the group. He hated that Husk knew him so well, and so effortlessly too.  He chuckled though.

"Me, ask for help?" He laughed. "You sure you, ain't high?"

The cat demon sighed.

Angel turned to face the alcoholic gambler. He hugged his knees tighter and looked away agaian

"What am I supposed to do? Huh?! For fuck sakes they don't even know him! He don't know even them!" He groaned.

Anthony's head hung low. "I get that it's bad, but what am I supposed to do?!" His voice was hoarse he was choking on his tears not daring to cry.

Husk scoffed. Then he sighed.

"You still thinkin' he loves you?" Husk wondered.

Angel shook his head he laughed to mask his frown and his tears. He looked over at Husk, two out of four hands let go of his knees. He waved one hand as he spot the other rubbed his face.

"I know 'e don't. Hell he has a whole other boyfriend and his boyfriend has a whole girlfriend Husky! I'm nothing more than what we've always been!" He groaned. "Yet, I still love him though."

Husk scowled.

"Who The FUCK Does He Think He Is?!" He yelled startling the spider.

His face immediately fell, seeing Angeldust tremble, his voice softened.

"Shit I'm sorry. I didn't mean to ye-" He sighed. Softly placing a hand on Angel's shoulder.

Angel shook his head. He hugged the cat demon again. Husk was taken by surprise but hugged back. Pressing the side of his face to Angel's chest.

A few minutes passed. Husk didn't pull away, he wanted Angel to feel better. So let Angel hug him for as long as he needed. The spider eventually pulled away and wiped his face.

"Does Cherri at least know where you are?" The cat demon wondered.

Angeldust shook his head again. Husk stood up and began pacing.

"Christ, Angie!" He groaned.  "She's probably freaking the fuck out! Fuckin text her please?" He pleaded. "At least let her know you're alright."

Angeldust nodded and took out his phone. Typing with two hands. He didn't say where he was, but he told her he was fine.

They continued chatting Husk didn't even care that Angel was high as a kite. He never really did but, right now it made sense. He was probably in a lot of pain. They argued for ten to fifteen minutes because, Husk refused to let him sleep on his shitty couch. He'd wake up with a stiff back and he was injured enough as it was.

Angel nodded and walked up the stairs. Husk stayed downstairs he drank four more bottles and passed out right where he was sat with the TV still on.
