A while later Husk went outside, for a cigar break. He didn't even like Christmas but, he was having a good time until Alastor had to do anything, to ruin the day.

Cherri was sitting with her legs crossed, on the rug in her living room, with her head leaned over onto the coffee table as she snorted a line off of it.  Sir Pentious was a little uncomfortable but, he wasn't gonna say anything considering it was Cherri's apartment and she could do whatever she pleased.

Angel was sitting on the couch, his back was against the arm rest and his knees were bent. He was scrolling on his Instagram when his work phone buzzed. He groaned, he took it out of his pocket as it sounded again. He grimaced at the messages. The first one was a simple:

'Merry Christmas, Angel Cakes.'

But, the rest were him pressuring Angeldust to come in to the studio today.  He rolled his eyes at the messages. He shut off his work phone completely. At least then Val can think he's being ignored and he can simply say his phone died.

Mia was dancing in a corner of the room just have fun. Andre was also dancing in another part of the room as he ate some of Jordyns Shepard pie.

Husk came back in from his cigar break and sat next to his boyfriend again. Angeldust slowly scooched closer to him, he softly held Husk's hand and wrapped the cat demon's arm around himself. He loved feeling like he was in his own little world. Just his friends and Husk and he didn't have to think about Valentino or work. Right now that's exactly what he needed because the stupid asshole wants him to come in tomorrow even though he was given the week off.

Husk raised an eyebrow at the spider. He gently placed a kiss on the top of the spider's head.

"Baby, are you okay?" He wondered.

The spider nodded though it wasn't entirely true.

"Are you sure?" The cat demon wondered.

Anthony sighed.

"He wants me in the studio." He admitted.

Husk simply nodded but, his ears lowered. He wrapped another arm around the spider. He sighed, not knowing what to say.

The song that played through the speakers changed. It was a little too slow to dance too so Andre just finished eating Mia sat down. Cherri and Sir Pentious were chatting.

Husk played with Anthony's hair as the spider hummed along to 'Too Sweet' By Hoizer. The song neared it's end.

"I think I'll take my whiskey neat, My coffee black, and my bed at three
You're too sweet for me, You're too sweet for me." The cat demon sang in a low voice. Anthony didn't expect Husk to start singing but, it made him smile.

Husk hated how easy it was for Val to get in Anthony's head, but he understood. He was go whatever it takes to undo the damage.

There was a knock on the door which confused everyone, the spider sat up before, he got off the couch and walked over to the door. He looked through the peep hole, and immediately opened the door hugging his brother who was very taken aback by the physical contact.

Arackniss awkwardly patted Angel's upper back and greeted him.

"Uh... Merry Christmas." He rubbed the back of his neck.

"Merry Christmas!" The taller spider cheered in response.

Angeldust dragged his brother into the apartment and shit the door.

"Guys, this is my brother Arackniss. Arackniss this is, Cherribomb, Niffty, Jordyn, Mia, Andre and you already know Husk."

Arackniss just flicked his wrist in a 'hello' gesture, awkwardly.
