It's been a few weeks now. It's been a really rough adjustment for Anthony. Not having to answer to Valentino, his phone's not blowing up because, the moth was blocked on everything, except for on sinsta, Valentino's account was really controlled by Velvette.

For the first two days it felt great. The third day he was crying for seemingly, no reason. He and Husk were cuddled up in bed, eating ice cream and watching shitty comedies that were so awful, it made the unfunnyness funny. Anthony didn't understand why he was sad. He just was. Day four he locked himself in his room, playing loud music but, not loudly. Husk was used to this behavior, though. He was a little hurt because, Anthony said no secrets but, he can't shake the feeling that the spider shut him out again. That wasn't the case, luckily. Anthony didn't know what was going on so, he didn't know how to talk about it, so he was just riding it out. Anthony only knew, he didn't want to lash out at Husk so, he stayed away when he was angry.

Day five through ten were pretty much the same except he came out of the room to eat and angrily cuddled the cat demon. (He wore a grumpy face the entire time.)

Days eleven through presents were spent by Anthony sleeping almost the entire day and then bringe gaming all night.

Current it was nearly one in the afternoon, Anthony still hasn't woken up. The cat demon was downstairs drinking his first beer of the day. He was pacing himself dispite how worried he was, he knew being intoxicated wasn't going to make anything better. He was watching nothing in particular. His stomach started growling. But he didn't want to cook nothing. He thought about ordering pizza but, he didn't want to wake Anthony to find out what he wanted. The winged cat demon made himself a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, instead. He cleaned up after himself returning the jelly to the fridge and the peanut butter to the pantry. He walked back into the living room and sat on the show as he ate his sandwich and drank his booze.

About an hour went by before the groggy still very tired spider came downstairs in a T-shirt underwear that was barely visible and a blanket wrapped around his head and shoulders. He laid on the couch and rested his head on Husk's lap. Husk was surprised but, he smiled down at the spider and stroked the spider's hair over the blanket.

"Morning, sleepin beauty." He teased.

The spider groaned in annoyance as a response. Husk raised an eyebrow.

"Still in a mood?" Husk asked.

The pink and white demon, just sighed and shrugged.

"Hmmm, Could you be hungry? It is two." Husk inquired.

Anthony was quiet. He thought about it, then nodded silently.

"Yeah? Ya want pizza?"

He nodded again.

"What kind?"

Anthony was quiet as he thought about it. He rolled over onto his stomach using Husk's thigh as a chin rest.

"Meat lovuhs?"

Husk nodded. "Anything else?"

Anthony's eyes narrowed as he thought. "Garlic knots. But but like, da ones wi-"

"With cheese inside, yes I know." The cat demon chuckled.

Anthony smiled for seemingly the first time in a week. Husk smiled too. The winged cat took his phone from his pocket and dialed the best pizza place in the pride ring. Doomsday District might be a shitty place to live but, damn their pizza was unmatched. It was more than likely Husk would get the pizza free since they were on the other side of the city He was still gonna tip either way. It's long drive.

Low and behold the pizza and garlic knots came an hour later which, did mean it was free because Husk had to reheat it in the oven. But, it was still worth it. The two demons sat on the couch eating a slice of pizza. Fat Nuggets was at Anthony's feet with his head tilted.

"Ugh fiiiine!" Groaned the spider dropping some cheese and a meatball on the floor for the pig. "Whoops."

Husk rolled his eyes.

"We buy him gourmet fuckin food! Don't you spoil him more than, he already is!" He joked.

Anthony giggled a little but, it faded too quickly. He cross his arms. Husk's eyes eyebrows furrowed.

"Hey, I was kidding. Here, I'll give him some of mine to make up for it." He dropped a bit of cheese on the floor for the pig as well.

After another thirty minutes they finished eating. Anthony laid on top of Husk his legs between Husk's. His head rested on his chest. The cat demon's arms were around him, and softly ruffling his hair. The only noise was from the TV, Fat Nuggets chowing down on the food in his food bowl, and Husk's quiet purring.

"Baby?" Husk spoke finally cutting the silence between them.

"Hmm?" Responded the spider.

Husk continued stroking Anthony's hair as he spoke. His voice was soft.

"Could ya be withdrawli-"

Anthony sat up incredibly offended, and defensive. He basically snapped.

"I HAVEN'T BEEN ON SHIT! Not anything that would cause a fuckin two week withdrawal anyway! For Fuck's sakes! We been together for months! You'd know! I'd tell you!"

Husk's eyebrows raised. He placed a soft hand on Anthony's shoulder. He wasn't gonna comment on the yelling because, he knew Anthony's not really in control, of his emotions or reactions right now. His mood has been all over the place, Husk wasn't going to fault him for that.

"Hey! I'm not accusing you, I'm asking. Because ya kinda seem like, ya could be. I'm not mad, I just want to help."

Anthony's expression softened. He wrapped his arms around Husk and laid back against Husk's chest again. He started sobbing. Anthony's head resting on Husk's shoulder. Husk held him.

"I'm sorry!" Cried the spider.

The cat demon sighed and just rubbed the spider's back.

"Shh baby, it's okay. There's no need to feel sorry for, having a bad week. It happens." Husk assured before he turned his head to kiss Anthony's cheek.

The spider sniffled. Husk sat up but kept his arms around Anthony. "Ya wanna watch a movie, I'll make popcorn." He offered.

The spider wiped his eyes and nodded.

There was a big factor Anthony was missing. It wasn't his fault though, he was too high to realize it; the middle of a withdrawal, wasn't the time he was gonna have a moment of realization. He's not been on hard drugs outside of work but, the drugs he did in his films were real drugs. While they didn't appear pink, there was a very high chance they were laced just like everything else, Valentino offers. Wether it's false pretenses and lies, or literal laced drugs. Nothing was ever real.
