Anthony woke up the next morning with Husk still on his chest He ruffled Husk's fur as he slept and rubbed his ears. The sleeping demon purred but he didn't wake up.

He grabbed his phone from his pocket careful not to disturb Husk. He checked the time and his eyes went wide.

"SHIT!" He ran a hand through his hair. The word repeated in his head.  Husk groaned and sat up. He rubbed his face still half asleep.

"Fuck!" Groaned Anthony as he checked his other phone. Several missed calls and texts from Val. He's two hours late. Im dead I'm fuckin dead. He's gonna fuckin kill me. Was all Anthony could think.

"Baby?" The cat demon grumbled tiredly. "Why are you awake?" He rubbed his face trying to wake up.

"It's fuckin one in the afternoon!" He said frantically. He got off of Husk's bed and frantically got dressed.

Husk was surprised he hadn't been portaled away yet. He's also surprised he slept that long. When did they go to bed?

"Com'on I'll drive ya." Husk offered.

Anthony immediately said no. Valentino would flip the fuck out if Angel was in another guy's car.

"We can get breakfast on the way." He offered.

He watched as Anthony made a pucker face as if he was trying not to react.

"Fine!" He crossed his arms and the two walked downstairs after Husk got dressed quickly.

They went through a drive through. Angel got a hot chocolate with extra whipped cream and chocolate drizzle, he also got hashrowns. Husk got a black coffee with just a dash of milk and a bagel with cream cheese.

They quickly drove off.

"Alright imma need directions, my love." He stated.

Anthony chuckled to himself and nodded. "Ohh... Right." He sighed. He forgot he was going to work.

He looked disappointed. Husk could tell and he wished he could do something about it.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay, when ya come home we can watch a movie have some wine, I know we can't really go on a date but, we can do something together." He held out his hand waiting for Anthony to take it and he did.

He watched as the spider nodded. Anthony wanted to go on dates but, it was his choice not to. He worried that either Val would see them or, paparazzi would chase him, and it would be all over hell. Then he'd have to deal with Vox too. He knew Husk didn't mind either way, as long as Anthony was happy but, Anthony couldn't help but feel like he was robbing the cat demon of a normal relationship.

He ate his hashrowns and sipped his drink.

"Hang a left. Then at the next intersection hang a right." Instructed the spider. Husk nodded and did exactly as he was directed.

He went straight until he got to the intersection, then he turned right. It was pretty obvious what building he was going to. It was the only one in this block with neon signs that had glowing blue XXX. He new better than to stop at the building because he didn't want Valentino to see Angel get out of his car. He stopped three buildings away from it just to be safe.

"Thanks." Anthony said with a blush.

Husk half smiled, half smirked. "No problem Legs. I love you."

He kissed Anthony's cheek.

"Love you too Whiskers." He got out of the car and started walking. Husk drove away. 

The spider finished his breakfast on the walk to the studio, he still had his drink he but he finished it quickly before he stepped inside the building. He tossed the cup away.
