"hmmm..." jake hums as he finally wakes up, being in a unknown room but it soon falls into place, he's in the hospital. as he looks down he sees heeseung sleeping while leaning on the bed, that immediately brings a smile on his face. he softly ruffles heeseung's hair but that wakes him up. "oh sorry..."

"jake...?" heeseung looks up to jake and his eyes start to tear up again. he gets closer to him and cups his face. "oh my gosh..."

"for how long was i gone...?"

"uhh around 9 hours but you're awake now and that's all that matters" heeseung says while showing a small smile but then the tears start streaming down. jake pouts lightly and wipes away the tears. "what happened...?"

"i- i don't remember much... that's the shitty thing... i just know i was searching for sunoo and then everything just went black..."

"but who would've done that to you...?" heeseung asks because that's literally the only thing he can think about. he's been having all kinds of scenarios in his head but it was not him who experienced it and sunoo also doesn't remember.

"it could've been everyone i think... even old patients... i really don't know..." jake sighs and then all of a sudden he get a shot of pain again. he groans and starts to take some deep breaths, heeseung trying his best to help and not panic. memories start to slowly get back and before he knows he starts to cry. "i-it were- it w-were..."

"sshh baby... c-calm down please...." heeseung says and wraps an arm around jake, who really is trying his best to calm down but it just doesn't work.

"h-hee... it were t-the jocks... y-yeonjun put a-a cloth to m-my face and i-i passed out...!! he k-kicked me... k-kicked sunoo too i-i think, it was t-them...!"

"what..." heeseung's first reaction is just basically being speechless, did he just hear that correctly? his enemies were the ones that kidnapped and hurt jake and sunoo? "i told y-you to not be involved..."

"b-but they s-still tricked m-me... i was s-so confused and mad when i saw h-him... he ruined t-this beautiful day... i ruined i-it..." jake cries out and lays his head on heeseung's chest. the other just comforts him even tho he's really mad on the inside.

"you didn't ruin t-this, i promise, it is all their fault but also eventually my fault... i got you into this and i should've seen it c-come even tho i didn't want it to really happen... i'm so sorry..." heeseung says and jake immediately backs away while shaking his head. he cups heeseung's head and gives him a kiss.

"you're honestly t-the best thing that ever happened t-to me... it's really okay s-so please don't say sorry, i knew and was g-going in for it too, am i hurt? yes but n-not because of you... t-they should be caught because of this... i just w-wish i knew how..."

"gosh i d-don't deserve you..." heeseung says while dropping a tear. "i heard something a-about checking out dna so m-maybe there's a chance..."

"you deserve m-me baby and that sounds like something we should definitely t-try"
