"heeseung...?" jake says in shock as he sees heeseung get inside his room. he immediately gets up and goes over to heeseung. nothing seems to be wrong with heeseung but as he sees heeseung's hand bruises he knows enough. "what happened?"

"well like we didn't fight, he only dodged my punch so i punched the wall, he laughed and ran away" heeseung says a little bit hesitant and jake sighs lightly. he let's heeseung sit down on the chair and grabs the supplies. "i really didn't wanna do it but he kept on bugging me about you... got like protective..."

"but fighting doesn't solve anything seung" jake says and starts to treat the wounds on heeseung's hand. this keeps on being a habit of heeseung to come over every time he's bruised up, it's better this way and he just really enjoys jake's company. "if you'll come here again you will treat me for a nice dinner"

"deal" heeseung says without any hesitation. "then we finally can have a date" and that's when jake's cheeks start to heat up. the idea of a date was indeed going through his head but he didn't think heeseung would literally say it. a small smile appears on heeseung's face as he sees jake keep on getting redder. "did i make you blush?"

"i think you already know that answer" jake says and avoids making eye contact with heeseung. he's done with treating heeseung's wounds so he wants to walk away but heeseung pulls him back, this time letting him sit on his lap. "h-heeseung"

"i really like you jake"

"i like you too heeseung"

"and even tho i hate these jerks, i'm thankful they brought me to you, without them i would've probably never met you" heeseung says and jake immediately responds 'that's so cheesy to say'. he can agree on that but it's really how he's feeling right now. "i'm just happy to have met you and that you're my doctor"

"ah yes because that's very romantic to say, if you're only gonna use me for my doctor skills i'll smack you" jake says and heeseung giggles, saying 'you can smack my lips with yours', making jake lightly slap heeseung's shoulder. "were you always this cheesy?"

"something changed in me" jake slowly leans in. "it's called love" they can feel each others breath on their skin, the big moment can happen any time now but before they know they hear a phone ring. heeseung frowns and jake immediately gets off of heeseung's lap to pick up the phone. that was so close.
