Next on the figures hit list was a certain locket, that used to belong to one Salazar Slytherin.
They knew this one would be tricky. They knew it was hidden in a cave, far, far away.
They apparated to the location.
"Accio" they silently summoned, bringing a boat directly to them.
They set sail, headed for the far end of the lake.
Upon their arrival, they noticed the water they must drink, and poured themselves a cup.
"No, please, don't do it" they mumbled, beginning to relive some of their childhood memories.
"James, no, please!"
"Lily, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it!"
"Go away, Petunia!"
"I should have never called you a mudblood, I was angry and embarrassed and I wasn't thinking straight. I swear, it'll never happen again!"
"You're my best friend!"
"You're getting married? To James Potter? My worst enemy?!"
"Why would you and your little friends send me down here and then save me? To act the hero no doubt. You could have had me killed!"
The bowl was finally empty. Head spinning, Severus Snape grabbed the locket and apparated back home.
