Dreamland (Includes the Sequel)

The Sequel - Chapter 1

April 26, 2041 

I wake up next to Antoine after a passionate night. We are entangled and don't want to let each other go. So many years have gone by and we are still just as much in love. Audrey is a grown-up now and gone to college to study fashion, so we have the castle, minus the staff. The nest feels empty, though. 

I get up to dress myself to go to work, to my same old job at the mental health center and looks at my wrinkles that's part of who I am today. Antoine, too, has got a couple ones. Still, he likes his gothic style. Some things don't change. We also mostly listen to the same old music we listened to 15 years ago. 

The gang pretty much has the same lifestyle as before. Except Babe. He is now on the big screen. He even went to Tomorrowland to play twice. He's good friend with DJ Alok. His son is now almost an adult and wants to follow in his footsteps. We haven't seen Babe in several years now. We only communicate by texts. He's apparently dating a new guy.  

Sam, on the other hand, opened his own store where he  now sells electronics and fixes things. It's major. He bought a trailer a couple years ago and goes to Dreamland's tropics each summer. Morgan Wallen and Kane Brown sometimes plays at that Camping ground. It is big. Brittany rents it sometimes, too. Especially when there's events like that. What she likes the most is  travelling around the universe. She also likes trying out different meals from all around with her son. 

Joanna stopped doing her show and has moved on to a witchy fashion line. She still has her mystical store. She even created her own tarot deck. Malcolm, the husband, is still Antoine's assistant. On his spare time, he plays violent video games. 

Melody and Jessy moved back to earth for a few years, but they came back to Dreamland after learning that Melody has Lung Cancer. She wants to be close to her family. But apparently, it is treatable. As for Crystal's parents on both sides, they both retired. They are doing well. 

Crystal: Sigh

Antoine: What is it my dear? 

Crystal: Do you get tired of doing the same old job, sometimes? I mean, I love the people I work with, I still like mental health stuff and everything, but I just got tired of it? 

Antoine: That's normal. Are you thinking about doing something else? 

Crystal: Yes, maybe... I mean... I just don't know what yet. What am I good in? 

Antoine: A lot of things, love. 

I decide to call in sick to work. I just don't feel like going in, at all. A mental health day, but for me instead.  

Antoine: Why don't you come to the club, like you used to in the old days? We haven't been in there in so many years. 

Crystal: I don't even know who owns it now. It's gonna be a young crowd, probably. 

Antoine: I miss being your boss. Giving you a hard time. 

Crystal: Ha ha 

Later in the evening, Crystal and Antoine makes an apparition at the Nightclub. It totally changed. The stage is huge and the music is different, too. It is more modern. 

Antoine: Country music... ugh!

Crystal: Hey, bartender. A bubblegum bazooka, please. 

Antoine: Do you recognize the singer? 

Crystal: Yes, it's Warren Zeiders. I like this type of music. 

Antoine: I regret coming here... look at what they have done with this place after I left.
