Chapter 4: Darkanen

Seriously? 

I'm tired, I need coffee. I get up to make a cappuccino. I had a dream about the dark man. He was asking me :'' are you single?''. Joke. Sorry, that one was too funny. Poor Melody. It seemed like this was pretty much the first time she's been rejected by a guy. She did not see it coming. I log onto Facebook. There's nothing interesting, so I play a fashion game called Mall World for a while. I also wrote 2 new chapters for my story. Brittany texts me at 2h20, saying that she's on a bad hangover. I wanted to go shopping with her, but I'll let her rest instead. I decide to go on an adventure around the city by myself. I know it's not the greatest idea to venture on my own. 

Dreamland's SuperStar Mall, 2h45

I decide to spend tho whole afternoon at the mall. This place is so huge, I still haven't seen half of the stores. There are a few stores here that we also had on earth, like Urban Planet, Claire's, Sephora, Winners, Bouclair Home, Eclipse, Dollarama, Victoria's Secret, Bath and Body Works, Justice, Michael's and Ardene. Let's just say that I was more than happy when I saw those stores. Too bad I'm broke. I really don't know what I'm gonna do. Should I try to find a job? I don't even know if I'll survive long enough to even have an interview. Plus, my high school diploma is probably not accredited in Dreamland. What type of jobs would be available for me at this point? 

I enter, then get out of every store with nothing in my hands. I wish I could at least buy some cheap items for 1,50$ on Aliexpress like I used to do, but obviously they won't ship the items here. Brittany texts me by 5h00, saying she'd like to eat some fast food. I propose her to come here since there are over 20 different fast food restaurants to choose from. 

She and Babe joins me at the mall by 5h38. We have McDonald's in Dreamland!!! I've missed those Bacon Ranch Junior Chicken burgers and salty fries. Babe and I have something big in common: we LOVE fast food. Too bad it's unhealthy. Healthy for my brain though, it elevates my mood. Okay, this is still not an excuse. 

We end up at Brittany's place and watch a comedy movie. Babe sits between me and Brittany, but let's just say that he is pretty close to me. Like really close. To the point where I'm no longer sure if I'm uncomfortable or if I'm happy since I have a mini crush on him.  I almost fall asleep at some time. Watching a movie always makes me feel tired. Babe starts teasing me a little. Brittany raises an eyebrow, but doesn't say a word. She is very quiet today. The usual. I tickle Babe on the neck to get my revenge. Omg, this is so fun. I actually win the game. Hahaha. Brittany insist that we taste a new alcoholic drink. She found a video of a new recipe on the Tipsy Bartender page. It tastes like cake batter, it is actually really good. She pours a drink of Maple flavored Crown Royal with 7 Up. I'm not even sure she took the time to taste it. Dear Brittany! She just got over a hangover and decides to drink again. On a Sunday night. Gotta love that girl.  

Brittany: My parents were always on my back when I drank. Now I wish they were here to tell me to stop, especially since the main reason I'm drinking tonight is to forget that I miss them. I MISS MY DOOOOOOOOOOOG. 

She pours another drink. 

Brittany: Babe, you are so lucky. You found both your parents. Mine are in Dreamland somewhere, according to their Facebook post, but when I tried to talk to them privately the website froze. 

Crystal: The same happened to me. Although, my family is still on earth. The location marked on the message they sent me yesterday was : Mc Leods, New-Brunswick. 

Brittany: Oh

Babe: So you're all alone? 

Crystal: Sounds like it. The only people I know in Dreamland are: the two of you and your mom.
