Chapter 6: Fairytale

Sunday, May 15, 2016 - The Crystal castle - 8h21 pm

The king brings me to his office to talk privately. This room is decorated with blue, black and silver accessories. LUXURY! It even smells nice in here. I am stunned by everything I see, but I come back to reality pretty fast. 

Evil king: Looks like you have spent some quality time with your new family tonight. I granted your wish princess, like I promised. Now, it's your time to pay me back. Since we are now working together, I would need you to move back into this castle. Better than this ugly apartment you live in now, right? 

Crystal: So you want me to move back into my old bedroom? 

Evil king: It's your choice. There are a few other bedrooms free if you'd prefer. I'll need to have a word with my fellow people about it first since we're receiving a Dreamlander. I'll need to advise them first for your safety. You can move in by May 24 or May 31, you decide, as long as you stay in touch with me at all times.

Crystal: Only this? 

Evil king: For now, yes. It's simple and good for you too, right? 

Crystal: And my family? 

Evil king: There is a free room for everybody. Babe, Joanna, your cousin and even Brittany. 

Crystal: Are they allowed to go out anytime they want? 

Evil king: Of course. All the tests with your parents are done already, so they're free to go. 

Crystal: So my family and friends are not part of the deal. I'm the only one involved in this, right? 

Evil king: Exactly. 

Crystal: Why me? 

Evil king: Because you're the only Code 11. You know what it means.

Crystal: So I'm still a Code 11, even though you know my real identity now? Why is that?

Evil king: You're a Code 11 because of your abilities, you're far more powerful than a regular Dreamlander. But you're also the biggest troublemaker. Well, after Joanna, of course. I'm watching you closely, princess. You know what our deal is: I help you, you help me. BUT this must stay confidential. NO ONE except Joanna and the two of us must know about this deal. It's a matter of life and death. Understood? 

Crystal: Yeah... 

Evil king: Good. You can now go back to your daily activities and prepare your stuff for moving in. I'll see you in a few weeks. 

Wednesday June 1st 2016 - 6h04 am 

I can't sleep. I can't stop thinking. There's so much going on lately. I am now living in the castle with the Darkanen and all my family and friends. Everyone decided to come, except my grand-parents since they already have their own house. I chose to take back my old bedroom. I replaced the baby stuff with my new stuff. I started working at the daycare I applied to and received my 1st pay yesterday morning, so I went shopping. I have about 12 to 28 hours a week. I change diapers and cleans vomit, plus it's a lot of stress to take care of kids who doesn't always behave, but I absolutely love those little monsters. Joanna got a job there too. She told me that one of the baby reminds her of her oldest son, the one that's been kidnapped. He has his deep blue eyes, he laughs a lot and has an angelic smile just like her son. She never told me her son's name, but I never dared to ask her either. I know this makes her very emotional. I am off from work for 4 days because they cancelled my shift due to unexpected events. I don't mind because TODAY IS MY 23TH BIRTHDAY and I plan on taking it easy: Continuing writing my story, spending time with my family and friends and playing Mall World on Facebook.
