CHAPTER XII
"I love you, it's ruining me"

Seoul, South korea,
Seoul National University ,
12:00 p.m.

Y/N EMERGED FROM the bustling hallway of Seoul National University lost in her thoughts, clutching the music notes and her violin in her both hands.

She had finally passed her entrance exams and secured a spot in the prestigious music department, a dream she had worked tirelessly to achieve.

Results were out a week ago confirming the students victory in the entrance. However, amidst the joy of her success, a nagging worry gnawed at the edges of her mind.

It had been a week since classes had begun, and her friend Liane still hadn't shown up at the university. Y/N had tried reaching out to her multiple times, but each attempt had been met with silence and delivered texts.

Was she okay?

As she made her way to her first class of the day, her thoughts drifted to Liane, her concern growing with each passing moment.

They had promised to navigate university life together, supporting each other through the highs and lows.

But now, with Liane's absence weighing heavily on her mind, Y/N couldn't shake the feeling of unease that settled in the pit of her stomach.

Entering the music department building, Y/N searched the crowded halls for any sign of her friend, her heart sinking with each passing moment.

She couldn't help but wonder what could be keeping Liane away, and a sense of foreboding crept over her as she contemplated the possibilities.

As she settled into her seat in the lecture hall, Y/N couldn't shake the feeling of loneliness that accompanied Liane's absence.

As the evening descended upon Seoul, the bustling campus of Seoul National University gradually emptied out as students made their way home.

Amidst the departing crowd, Y/N found herself crossing paths with a girl named Bohwa, a fellow student she had met in one of her classes.

With a sense of urgency gnawing at her, Y/N wasted no time in asking Bohwa about Liane's whereabouts. "Hey, have you seen Liane around lately?" she inquired, her tone tinged with concern.
