I held my breath
Starring at her hands holding the iron
I jumped and screamed with the crowd
Wishing her luck and my beating heart stopped for a second
She raised her head and wicked at me
Making me rise above my feet just to give her a smile
My eyes shined with hope and admiration
As I nodded and she nodded back
I knew she got this
She knew this too
We knew she can do this
And just as the ball hit the ground I stared at it in disbelieve
My legs wanted to dance
And lips wanted to sing
But I couldn't because I was too frozen to speak
And too in disbelieve to blink
She ran towards me
And lifted me off of my feet
Kissing my shoulders and cheeks
I screamed with tears in my eyes
She won
She didn't just win the gold but me too
