When the robed anthro bees left and returned near the point that the queen was referring to me, she looked at me and seemed to notice the confused look on my face, but she did not seem to understand my facial expression, which I was unnoticeably giving her.

"I apologize if I am making you uncomfortable. If I were, I would apologize for my unexpended gesture. I don't want my mages putting their hands on you. They have never seen a creature like you before," the queen said, explaining why her subjects were so interested in me. Besides, I wasn't that interesting; I was just a human.

"No, it's fine. I was just confused about why you were slightly protective of me. You could've just told them to leave without having to protect me from them physically, and I'm wondering why you did that?" I said, with no threat or emotional anger in my tone, only a tone of confusion.

She looked at me for a moment, but after a minute of waiting for her response, she averted her gaze. And I assumed, which seemed impossible to realize, that she appeared embarrassed or flustered.

Before she could speak, an anthro honey bee that was wearing white and golden silk clothing, which looked almost a lab coat, which I assumed it's what it was and understood that this male anthro honey bee must be some scientist, hovered slightly over to greet the queen but looked at me for a moment with a curious look on his face but stopped when he noticed the queen give him a look of unpleased moment of impatience for what he wanted to speak to the queen about.

"My queen, we received the device but do not know what it is." The male anthro honey bee said in a straight yet stern tone.

At that moment, I assumed he was referring to my escape pod. If it was alright with the queen, I could help them understand it and hopefully use it with my equipment, even those who couldn't retrieve the defense unit—and gods know where it was now. Still, I could locate the other functional pods that hopefully survived the ship's crash landing.

"Is it shaped like a cylinder?" I asked slightly, speaking in Hexian, looking up at the hovering anthro male honey bee.

The male honey bee looked at me in confusion yet also curious, surprised that a creature he had never seen before spoke his kind of language. He then looked at me again, now giving me his full attention.

"What is a cylinder?" the male anthro honey bee asked, slightly hovering lower to my eye level so that I could give him my full attention. His tone seemed too eager to hear what I had to say, which confused me.

But I noticed that the queen seemed interested in what I had to say, so after taking a moment to figure out how to explain it the best way I could, I began to speak, looking to both her and the male anthro bee, using my hands to gesture what the shape would like to look like.

The male honey bee noticed me trying to use my hands to give him an idea of what it would look like.

"It's a geometric term for a shape used in a mathematical learning tool called Geometry," I explained.

After I explained the terms verbally, they seemed even more confused when I used them.

So, I explained it more simply: "It's used in a certain type of math." The male anthro bee seemed to understand, and so did the queen.

"Yes, it is." The male anthro honey bee answered.

"I need to see it," I said in a direct and desperate tone.

The male honey bee was confused by my response, but he was about to interject when the queen gave him a look that he instantly understood and spoke with a defeated sigh.

"Very well, if the queen says so, you may see it." The male said this in an exhausted tone.

"But before we do, notify the Viterrians." The queen said, looking over to the male honey bee.

"Oh, I need to grab my gear as well," I said, looking to the queen to see if it wasn't concerning to her that I was limping enough to go alone to grab my gear.

She nodded to me, understanding what I was asking her nonverbally, and asked if I could grab it in the room that I was assigned.

After taking a moment, I remembered where the queen and I had walked from and could retrace the path we took inside the castle to my quarters.

After a moment of running to my room in the excitement of hopes of filling the escape pod and tracing any other functional one that might have other survivors that survived the crash, we would be able to send out an SOS beacon to the closet ship orbiting around d the system to have an extraction rescue craft, so the possible other survivors and I could go home.

When I opened the hexagon-shaped door, I saw my bag still on the bed. When I walked over to grab it, I felt as if someone was watching me, but I was unsure where they were in my room.

Unsure of what to do, I looked around, my bag in hand containing the equipment I needed for the escape pod.

I spoke, looking around.

"Hello?" I asked.

Suddenly, I started to hear footsteps, but I wasn't sure what they were exactly. What I did know was that they were heading towards me. They sounded like light steps, but what confused me more was that I was able to see what or whoever was walking toward me.

Before I could do anything other than get out of the quarters, a tall, 7-foot-tall anthro female honey bee looked down at me. Based on her physical features, she looked young, maybe around in her 20s.

She looked and wore similar clothing to those in my world. She had a ring piercing on her lip and two small, rectangular long earrings; her clothing was identical to the clothing dynamic in my world.

Her clothing and jewelry looked modern, but they seemed almost royal.

I wasn't sure who or why this anthro honey was in my quarters, and I feared she would hurt me or do something even worse that I couldn't think of because she was slightly towering over me.

She stared at me with a non-expressive look, and I wasn't sure what to do or say, but she then spoke to me in a gentle female tone that didn't sound threatening.

"Hey there." She said.
