Once I could get a diagrammed map of it in a printable document, I could pull out a small yet compatible printable that would, in high hopes, print the map diagram for me.

Once, I plugged the printer's power cord into a power plug-in port, which was a second port from the two power ports of the escape pod's backup power supply.

After plugging the printer in, it whirred to life. Then, a USB port was connected from the printer to the device tablet, and once it was fully synced,

Its robotic ink printer whirred, moving from the left to the write, and was ready to print based on the green bulbed light that showed it was functioning correctly.

I checked to see if it had enough ink and paper to print the diagram.

I then went to my pad, went to one of the file settings, and pressed the print icon. Once I did, it gave me the yes or no option. I wanted to print this file, so I pressed the yes icon. After that, it showed me a process bar.

It showed that the printout was being processed. At the same time, it was being printed out.

I then noticed the scientist, the anthro honey bee, and the anthro reptile cobra-like creatures staring at me, and I assumed they were staring at me this entire time. After glancing at my unnoticed surroundings, I noticed the queen looked slightly...intrigued. Still, I wasn't sure what, so I ignored her, thinking she was fascinated by the technology I had displayed.

After taking a moment to wait, which showed about fifty percent of the progress of the diagram being printed out, I was greeted by a tall shadow before me, unsure to whom the shadow belonged, but it was slightly towering over me.

To my confusion, I looked over and saw that the queen was looking down at me, her eyes slightly glowing from her shadow. I saw a slight hint of a yellow aura illuminating her eyes' corners.

Her large yet intimidating body was close to me, a

Unsure what the queen was doing, I took a moment to speak.

"Uh, is everything okay, your majesty?" I asked, unsure of what she was doing. I turned to position myself and faced her.

I would speak in her language so she would understand my question, but speaking my species' language would be nice because I'm getting too comfortable with theirs.

It would benefit them to understand my language, making it easier for both of us.

"Hm? Of course, I was just intrigued by your...um, I apologize, but what are your gadgets?" she said, slightly curious about the device I had plugged into the escape pod.

I wasn't sure how we could explain it to them because, in this world, they weren't even close to this kind of technology. I wasn't sure if they would understand its complexity, so I reminded myself that giving them less context would give them an idea of what it is and how it works.

"So this, this is what's called a printer," I said, pointing to the now-finished piece of paper.

"The printer stamps ink on the paper," I said, showing her the picture of the printer's function.

To my surprise, she seemed to know what I was trying to explain, and I noticed that a few of the scientists were also intrigued.

After explaining that the ink from the device compresses ink on it, it is connected to the device tablet.

After a few minutes of explaining it to them and mainly to the queen, who seemed surprisingly intrigued by this and the fact that I explained it to her and the others.

I could grab my equipment, put it all in my bag, and carefully fold the diagram to where the other functioning pods were in the area.

Once I could finish what I was doing, the queen then spoke to the scientist, who I guessed was the leader or director of the other anthro honey bees in the room we were all in.

"Let our guest know what else you find out there." The queen said.

The scientist looked at me in disbelief and was about to protest, but I noticed he stopped before he could speak and looked to move an inch away from her slightly.

She noticed my seen action, and from her direct irritated look, her face changed into a look of concern, and I noticed that she was slightly confused as to why she was concerned about what I was doing and thought she was a queen, for crying out loud, but she was taller and intimidating.

But I saw from her recent actions and words that she cared about me, and I wasn't sure why because my assumptions were accurate, so I wanted to be sure if her intentions were honest.

After that moment, the queen guided me out of the room, and I looked back to see that the scientists were now back to analyzing and working on my pod.

I looked to the queen, who seemed to follow my gaze, and she gave me a reassuring smile to let me know that they weren't going to fiddle with it because that was my only way of knowing if there were other survivors out there alone, and scared as well.

The queen and I continued out, and I looked to see the two anthro bee guards close the two hexagon-shaped beamed doors behind us.

Then we continued by walking through the halls and turning a corner to the left, which led to the hallway to the right, where my room was.

Once I was close enough to the hexagon-shaped door that led to my room quarters, the queen placed her dining room plate-sized right hand on the door and opened it for me.

I looked up at her, and she gave me a look I couldn't understand, but I could only tell that it was a look of care and generosity.

After the door was open, I walked in and noticed, from my balcony and the white and slight yellow drapes I had for curtains, that the sun was beginning to set.

I looked back to the queen and saw she was near the door. She stood before me and looked at me, and I turned to face her fully.

Before I could say or do anything, she kneeled slightly on one leg and was at my direct eye level, giving me a slight, noticeable feeling of a peck on my hair-covered head.

Surprised and confused, I looked up at her. She got back up. She gave me a gentle smile, and then she walked away, giving me one last look of what looked to be fascination or curiosity.

Then she closed the door behind me, but just as it was about to close, she said in a slightly mutter, "Sleep well, young one."

After that, she closed the door, leaving me standing there only to hear and feel the wind brushing on me from the outside of the high-altitude balcony, and that was when I just asked myself out loud in my human language.

"What just happened?" I asked myself.

Before I could realize that the queen had just kissed me on the head, I was surprised and confused. But that was soon cut off when I remembered about Avira and worried about whether she had made it and was healed.

Still, I couldn't do it now because it was getting late, and I was starting to feel a little. Still extremely tired, I took off my shoes that my kind made, and despite wearing the author bee's custom-made fabric attire, I belly-flopped on the bed. The thought of Avira getting better was the only thought nagging in my head.

Still, I hoped to see her again tomorrow and tell them what had happened, but I needed some rest.
