I was confused when I noticed the fake smile that Avira was giving to the queen, but before I could hint to her a questionable look, the queen spoke again.

"Ahem, it seems you're still in inappropriate clothing. If you don't mind, our guest and I will wait for you outside."

I was confused when she said that. I saw with wide eyes that Avira was wearing nothing but infantry clothing, similar to hospital clothing that a parent would wear.

Once she said this, she slightly brought her hands towards me, and I looked at Avira, who had a concerned expression on her face. Still, she was able to let go, and surprisingly and confusing enough, the queen took hold of my hand and rubbed her three-fingered hand on it.

I could have sworn when she tugged me somewhat out from the infirmary.

She muttered, "So...soft." even though I could hear that, I was confused as to why someone so royal would say something thunderous that I could listen to. Still, it wasn't in English when she said it.

It was in her foreign language, which I was able to understand and translate, some times she would either use my English language or her language at some specific points in subject matters that were related to the queen, or I would speak to her subjects by using her alien anthro honey bee language to talk to them that way.

Once we were outside the room we were just in, I thought, at least in my head, that this would be a good time for me to ask her something related to the kiss she planted on my head.

This left me completely confused about what had just happened and why that even happened in the first place.

Taking a minute to speak, I looked to the queen, who had noticed my eye contact and looked at me nervously with curious and kind eyes.

"Yes, young one?"

"I have a question about...something," I said, hoping somewhere I was getting at would make things awkward or create unexpected tension between me and the most influential royal being on the planet, at least that I know, for now.

She looked confused about what I was implying, and she wasn't getting at what I was trying to say, so I took a moment to choose my words carefully, hoping that I wouldn't insult her in any way.

Before I could speak, she seemed to notice what I was trying to say by looking at me quickly and then at the nurse I met when I went inside to meet Avira. Looking at us confused, the queen spoke in her foreign language.

"Could you give us a moment, please?" she asked, her tone kind yet orderly. The nurse nodded and walked down the hallway from where I came.

Once we were alone and still waiting for Avira, I continued the topic.

"Go on, you were saying?" The Queen asked.

"Yes, um...you kissed me on my head," I said, explaining why I was bringing this up. After saying that, I wasn't sure what would happen to me now that I saw that.

But when I looked at the queen, trying to make eye contact with her, I was confused when I noticed that she was looking at me with wide eyes and a slight hint of what looked to be...a blush on her cheeks.

It was small, but I noticed this and was confused about why she was blushing from what I assumed was an embarrassment.

Why would she feel something like that even though she was a queen? Why was she feeling this way? Shouldn't the queen be strong-minded and know their place in their kingdom?

I was trying to figure out what to say or do. Still, I was interrupted when I was greeted by hand pressure on my shoulder. I looked up to see Avira embracing me slightly, her torso and body towering over me.

Still, I also noticed that she was staring at the queen slightly with dagger-like eyes. If that was the case, why was she rude to the queen, and what did Avira have against her? I hoped I would have the opportunity to ask her why she was acting this way.

Surprisingly, I even saw the queen giving Avira a slight, eyes-to-eye glance at her. She spoke in her best tone, but her facial expressions said otherwise.

"Well, then shall we?" she said, slightly gesturing to us to guide us to where we would be having breakfast because I was surprised that I hadn't felt that hungry until now.

"I just missed a whole day yesterday of not having any food. Once I had some breakfast, it would help my immune system and change anything about how I feel if I feel any better.

I thought but realized that if I was going to eat their auctioned food, I needed to scan it to be sure I could eat it without it affecting my digestive system so it wouldn't cause any side effects to me eating it.

Thankfully, I could have a scanner in my room. "Excuse me, Your Majesty." The queen looked at me but continued to walk, and so did Avira.

She looked down in my direction to give me her full attention. She arched her brow slightly, assuming she was confused or surprised by my sudden question.

"Yes?" she said, her tone gentle and yet curious.

"I forgot something in my quarters. Would it be all right if I grab it before I eat?" I asked, hoping that the queen would understand.

She looked at me for a moment, at Avira, and nodded, "Of course."

"Thank you, I'll be right back," I said, making my way down a corner of the palace, hoping to find my room and grab what I needed.

But I turned a corner down the long corridor when I could not be seen. Avira turned to the quenne with a scowl on her facial expression.

"He's not what you think he is," she said severely and sternly.

The queen looked to her guards and gestured for them to leave, giving her and Avira a minute to discuss a private topic.

"Oh? And what would that be?"
