I was confused as to why she would be worried or even afraid of why she was to meet Vee.
"You don't seem okay. What's wrong?" I asked, my tone unsure and confused. I slightly tried to place a hand on her arm despite her being taller than me.
I wasn't sure if she understood my gesture, but I didn't want to be inapposite or hurtful.
But curiously enough, she took my hand with hers and looked down from where I stood her eyes.
I noticed a slight hint of yellow and orange aura sardined to color in them as she looked at me as if it were directed towards me.
That's when we heard the sound of hinges and the sound of a lock opening. We simultaneously turned to see that a hooded figure came out from where we saw where it originated from the small shop, which Avira assumed was where Vee was.
I noticed that the being in the dark purple cloak tuned to our direction, and I prized in fear, unsure if whoever this being was, they were either here for trouble or something.
I wasn't sure what it was, which scared me.
Suddenly, I felt Avira's other hand rest against my chest, which I assumed was a sign of protection. I was curious as to why she was willing to risk her own life for mine, yet she was willing to do what she did, and it never occurred to me to ask her why she was willing to do what she was doing.
But before I could think or do anything else, the hooded being undid its hood to reveal Vee. Still, when she looked at Avira, her eyes were wide and shocked.
Her alien bee-like facial features told me she was shocked to see me, but that wasn't when she noticed me.
Her eyes were wide, and she spoke in her alien language but stopped herself and stopped in my human language, "Adam?! Avira, what are you two doing here?!" she exclaimed in confusion. She didn't seem happy when we heard her.
She seemed emotionally sad and yet again confused.
"I thought she would be happy to see us."
I looked at Avira, and she looked at me with an upset and unimpressed look.
I was clueless about what she was giving me that look for, so I said confusedly and spoke in my human language.
"What?" I asked, clueless that it was logical for Vee to be upset with us.
Before any of us could do anything, Vee gestured for us to follow her and come to her shop, gesturing with one of her arms to signal us in the best way she could silently for us to go inside her shop as quality as we could, ignoring Avira's irritated expression her face, and wasn't sure.
But she gave me a slight glance, which I noticed wasn't pleasant. She wasn't happy but muttered, "Let's go."
She said this as she let go of my hand and went ahead without checking to see if I was catching up.
"What did I do?" I thought, unsure of whatever I did, but I knew I needed to feel close enough to figure out if I were not to hurt Avira's feelings or Vee's as well
So I didn't argue. Or say anything, and I instantly followed her and Vee inside her shop.
