I was shocked to hear that Avira was the daughter of the queen, and based from
Our royal ancestors believed that if her mother were the queen, that would make her a princess.
"Wait, so if you're her mother, that makes you...?" I asked
I was about to finish that last sentence when he cut me off.
She sighed. She raised one of her three-fingered hands to signal me to be silent until she sighed, her head low and her eyes closed, but her body and head faced me from the side of the chair to which she was sitting.
"Sigh, yes. I am royal," she said, slightly blunt.
I was confused as to why she was acting this way, and that was why she
She was a royal, and I would be paid more respect to her, but something from
Her body language told me that she wasn't a big fan of being the whole royal kind of dynamic, so it was just best for
I would not bring it up if it were too personal for her.
After a moment of silence between us, she broke it and so said.
"We should probably leave," she said.
I needed clarification about what she meant by that.
She seemed to see my confused face and clarified, "We should leave the palace and head over to see Vee."
I wasn't sure how to respond, so I asked, "Are you sure? Are you even able to move fully after what happened?" I asked.
She was about to furrow her brows when she noticed the concerned expression on my face, and she slightly gave me a gentle smile.
"I am all right, and I feel capable enough to go anywhere I want to."
I nodded to her response, and she turned to the door. Then she lifted herself off the chair and looked back down at me from my short and extremely towering height.
Turning my head, I went over to the other side of the table where I was sitting to get my scanner. Once I did, I looked over to see that Avira was waiting for me, so we went to the door when I walked back to her.
We weren't able to leave the room.
Still, when Avira placed her right hand on the two-tall beam hexagon-shaped door, it started to glow slightly and outline the texture of the door itself, creating symbolism on the door, which caused the door to open by itself.
Before we could leave, two Anthro Bees guards in royal armor held metallic golden-colored data, and their armor was also golden.
They stood their ground, and Avira and I weren't sure what these guards planned. She placed one arm on my chest and slightly maneuvered me behind her.
One of the other guards told us, "The queen has ordered us to be with you at all times." I looked to see that Avira was a liitle flustered and stated by this, and so she said with a direct and stern tone in her voice.
"And I order you to leave me and my...guest alone." Her voice was slightly more profound, and something about it was different. She noticed that the two guards suddenly stood up more straight than they were initially, and at that moment, they started to walk off.
What...what was that? I thought, and it just reminded me of a scene from the first Star Wars: A New Hope when Obi-Wan Luke Skywalker and C3-PO r2-d2 were on Desert Planet on their speeder and were questioned by the stormtroopers.
Suddenly, Obi-Wan hypnotizes them to say, "These aren't the droids you're looking for." that was that exact moment.
I kept using many movie references because I loved movies as a kid. They were my escape from reality, and I enjoyed them. I was able to recite and quote different scenes from different movies.
But I had wondered about Avira doing something similar to the references from Star: A New Hope.
Back from my train of thought, she grabbed me by my hand and dragged me down the hallway, to which we came through with the queen, who happened to be Avira's mother.
Suddenly, when we rounded the corner down the hallway, I realized how much of a maze this place was; it reminded me a little of the classic creator Jim Henson's movie called The Labyrinth.
I know I reference many movies because I'm such a movie buff.
Speaking of which, should I have told her or even told her about the dream I had last night about a goddess who happened to say to me what caused the ship to fall into the world I was currently in?
But I was thinking about it. It would be better once we get out of the palace and into the city and find Vee, then I could tell.
Maybe that's why Avira wants to find Vee. So she can help me recover my memory and remember what caused the ship to fall. Then, I could see the truth from the goddess and whether she was telling me the truth or just some weird dream I was having.
To be continued
