CHAPTER 36

HAZEL'S POV

"What the hell Haze! What are you thinking?!"

Semi is scolding me after I told him what I'm planning to do. "Semi, I'm doing this for us, for our family and for Airon-"

"No. I won't let you come with that Marco."

"Semi, this is the only way. I am the only way-"

"I said no, Haze." he stood up from the bench outside the ICU where our parents are laying.

"I already made up my mind. I will go with him, it's just a marriage I will face. It's not like I will live to somewhere else, we can all still be together."

He turned to face me. "It's not just a marriage. There's something else they want-"

"Hazel!" We were interrupted when Marco appeared again. He have two men behind him wearing a suit, maybe his bodyguard. "I recieved you text."

I stood up and was about to come closer but Semi grabbed me and hid behind his back. "She will not come."

"Semi, I guess she already told you the truth?" Marco.

Semi froze and tightened his grip on my arm. "I don't trust her anymore, Sir." then they stared at each other.

They're talking about something I didn't know again so I can't help myself but to ask. "What is this about again Semi?"

Their staring competition didn't stop. Just like Iris and him, they knew each other. "Hey, please tell me what is happening? What truth? And who is 'her', Semi?"

"Don't be selfish Semi. All of us wants to protect someone, you know what will happen so don't let your personal emotion harm her." Marco.

"No. I won't give you my sister." Semi.

'Okay, they're ignoring me.'

"Well, she's the one who can decide about that." finally, they noticed me. "Hazel?"

I looked at Semi with a pleading eyes. "Semi, how can I fight with you if you're hiding something from me?"

His eyes widened and then sighed. "I just can't tell you. But it doesn't-"

"The fact that you're not telling anyone about her is a sign that you still lov-" Marco.

"Shut up." Semi stopped him. "Haze, you don't need to do this."

I know we can somehow manage the money but I am worried about Airon, he had nothing to do with this. I'm doing this for him. "Semi, please let me do this, I want to protect someone too."

"Haze..."

I pulled my hand from him and went to Marco. "I'm coming with you so don't do anything on Airon and his family."

"Yes. Let's go, I'll explain everything at home." He replied and offered his hand to me.

Before I reach for it, I looked at Semi. "I'll be back. I promise."

"Haze, no. I'll find a way to get you." he said and was about to pull me but the two bodyguards stopped him.

I nodded at him and accepted Marco's hand. "Please, take care of me."

"Have a sit Hazel. I'm sure you're hungry, I'll have them cook for you." Marco said and went to the kitchen.

He brought me here, in his mansion. I sat in the couch to rest. I looked up and stared at their huge chandelier. "I'm sure Semi is tired too, I hope he get some rest while waiting. I hope Omi is okay too, I missed him already."
