Nagi walks onto the field, leaving you to sit on the benches to watch him

Your face went hot "why are you so close nagi?" You asked him, leaning your head back a little
"Watch me play, only me. The game won't be boring anymore..." he said and you pushed his face away with your hand "alright alright, just at least try when you're playing. He nodded

He looks over his shoulder, glancing at you. It reminded him of when you two were just silly teenagers wanting to impress each other. But now it felt different- it's like there was springs on the bottom of his feet and he had so much more stamina. Like he could still impress you, impress you more than he has ever done before

He wants to see you watch him with wide eyes, hands on knees and practically watching his every move. He got used to the feeling of eyes on him despite him not liking people looking at him but- he wants to feel your eyes on him, he wants to be for your eyes only. The other people didn't matter, he wouldn't try for them

"Seishiro! Are you pumped up now??" Isagi asks, placing a hand on his friends shoulder but nagi just brushed his hand off, walking into the field

Isagi blinked a few times, watching his figure get smaller as he got further. He then glanced towards the benches and everything clicked in his head when he saw you, it's been a long time since he's seen you and he couldn't help but smile and wave

He didn't deny it, he understood why his teammate was still head over heels for you even a year and a half later. You always stood against the beauty standard, not caring about such things and yet, in less than two years you set the new beauty standard

Now he sees high school girls squealing when they saw you, wanting to be tall and charming like you- he knew that most of them didn't even swing that way yet they would most definitely crush over you

He wondered why you were even here though, you were a volleyball player, a model and a university student. How come you still had free times despite all of those?

"Isagi! Head in the game!!" Someone yelled and he quickly snapped out of it, jogging into the field

Nagi ran across the field, his feet moving as fast he could. Rin was sprinting just behind him, waiting for the perfect opportunity to pass the ball to the taller man

It's like a small ding in his mind, a ding to tell him all that he needed- nagi was so far away from the net but his gut told him to just pass the ball to him so he did, his gut never lied to him after all

Nagi now has the ball and he finds himself surrounded, so he ran between the men and slid onto the grass, pushing the ball in front of his feet. He groans and quickly stands up, running with the ball again

Sae appeared by his side, being open for the ball but- he knew that sae would just take the opportunity to strike the ball into the net. Nagi didn't want that, he wanted you to see him when he scored, when he scored and no one else. This was just a practice match and yet he wanted to impress you so badly

He catches a glimpse of purple on his right and he didn't waste any time, passing the ball to the person "reo!" He calls out, telling his friend to pass it back to him with their eyes

Reo nods and runs a little farther before tossing the ball into the air with his feet, shidou springs into the air. Wanting to bump the ball with his head to steal the ball from nagi's team but his eyes widened when he felt the ball being kicked from just above his head

Nagi had jumped so high that his foot managed to kicked the ball into the goal from above shidou's head "seishiro!!" Reo screamed at the top of his lungs and practically pounced onto his friend

"That goal was so cool!!" Shidou went crazy and stuck his tongue out, coddling nagi as everyone else did at the same time

Nagi glanced to the benches and found you sitting there, a leg crossed over the other as you leaned forward. Elbow on your knee that was over the other and your cheek propped up against your knuckled

It's like what he saw was a screen in his video games, like he zoomed in onto your face and read your lips as they moved

"You've impressed me" you muttered when you saw nagi looking straight at you, his eyes widened and sparkled when he was able to comprehend what you said

There a was a whistle and a few claps of the hand, meaning the practice match was over

You stand up, ready to leave since you had a modelling session coming up
"Y/n" someone breaths out and you saw rin, looking at you with wide eyes
"Hey rin" you smiled and waved, tilting your head a little

Rin hadn't seen you in so long, you had let your hair grow out and you seemed prettier. Was it because you aged a little more? No, that wasn't it
"Hey y/n I'm sorry that I couldn't-" a hand gets placed over his mouth and he gets pushed away with a harsh shove

He stumbled a little by the shove and noticed that nagi was with you now
"You were impressed?" He asked, Rin swore that if the man had a tail it would be wagging side to side

You sweat dropped "why did you shove rin? But yeah, I was impressed" you looked away as nagi looked over his shoulder at his teammate, giving him a cold stare then looking back at you with a faint smile

"He was in the way" you chuckle "that's a little rude, don't you think?"

Rin swallows the guilt he felt bubbling in his mouth, he knew why nagi looked at him in such a way. It was because he had stopped contacting you, not even hanging out with you for the year and a half when he had no reason to have stopped talking to you

He didn't even know why himself, but when everyone else on the team did it he just... followed them

A/n] hey babes, I appreciate your comments and support so much. I really enjoy reading all of your comments on the story and I couldn't be happier that you guys like this fic :). Again, im sorry for the late updates, I'm working on a Gojo fic that's called 'two in one' and it's kinda crappy at some parts but it's slowly getting better... some of the problems I made in there lasted just for like one or two updates- making it less dramatic but.. I really ran out of ideas
