Chapter 27

I get home and call Thane. "Hey, sweetheart! Are you home yet?"

"I am, love! I decided that I need to call my heart and soul. I hope we didn't tire you out too much tonight."

"Not at all! I am so happy that you called me though. I have missed my woman more than what I ever thought was humanly possible."

"Are you going to tell me about your trip?" I asked him as I lay on my bed in an extra-large t-shirt. What I really wanted to know was if his father was actually his grandpa's son. But I wasn't going to ask out right.

"Well..... The DNA tests came back that grandpa isn't actually our grandpa. Which means that our parents get absolutely nothing from the will. We get everything along with Marsha, of course. So, we went and kicked the bastards out of the magazine and houses. It was so awesome to do that. After all of the years of verbal and physical abuse that we suffered under their thumbs. It was everything that we had ever dreamed it would be."

"That makes me happy. I am only wishing that you guys could take a test and find out that you don't belong to your dads."

"That would be a dream come true." I agreed with him. That would be awesome for them. "Now tell me what you did while we were occupied with this business?"

"Well, let me think. I worked, bought groceries, cleaned the house, and went to the gym. I live a very boring life." Talk turned to riding motorcycles. "Do you want to go to Sturgis with us? My whole family goes for the week. But this year I can only go in the evenings and from Thursday to Sunday. I am working double shifts on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday so that I can have the rest off."

"Do you have to work so long?"

"Yes, I used all of my vacation days when I was shot. Brown refused to let me use medical leave. Plus the department is learning how to work equally."

"I see. We can ride there together. Are you sure that your family won't mind?"

"They won't. Dad asked me if you guys were coming this year. We will have to get you guys a tent though."

"Can I be honest with you right now?"

"Please do. I won't accept anything else."

"I have never camped out a day in my life. So I don't know what I will need."

"I can help you with that. We can go shopping tomorrow if you want."

"I want! Thank you so much!" Max joined our conversation and agreed that he wanted to go to Sturgis with us.  They will meet me after work tomorrow to buy the tent and sleeping bags. I told them that we all pitch in for the groceries and drinks. "I will get you a list of what we need as far as food. We are all in charge of our own drinks. I will take cokes and wine. Because that is what I will drink, for instance."

"Ok, we will get some beer and cokes. Maybe some coffee." Max said in return.

"Sounds good." We said good night to each other. They said 'I love you" then we hung up. I went to sleep and dream of them both.

The next morning, I go to the gym at five o'clock and start my workout. Logan comes in and opens the gym about half way through my exercise. Thane comes in within two minutes of the doors being unlocked.

"Good morning, my love!" He leans down and kisses me tenderly. But it turned passionate almost immediately.

Thane raises his head and smiles at me. "Good morning my heart. How was your night?"

"My night was filled with thoughts and dreams of my lady. How was yours?"

"Filled with dreams of you, my love. Awesome dreams." I won't tell him that it also contained kids. Not seven of them like mom and dad. But I do want kids, maybe three or four.
