Chapter 17

Max Justice's POV***

This was the day that I will tell Ashton that I want her heart. She has had mine for a while now. She is all that I think about. When Thane told me his feelings for Ashton, my heart was broken. I won't hurt my cousin for anything! He loves the woman that I love. We are both aware of each other's feelings for Ashton. Now, we talked about it last night when I got a little alcohol courage in me.

 Compared to Thane, I am totally different. In looks and personality.

 Thane has a short haircut, Dark blonde hair and grey eyes, clean shaven and with undefined muscles and no tats. He is muscular, just not really defined with cuts.

I have longish light brown hair that is just past my collar, green eyes, a constant five o'clock shadow, defined muscles and several tats. I got my first tat in the Army. It is the 4th Infantry symbol on my left shoulder. I also have a Celtic cross on my thigh, a cross with angel wings behind it on my right shoulder, a dragon tattoo on my back, two crossed swords on my right forearm, two crossed axes on my left forearm, among a few others. My favorite is the eagle with spread wings, his talons were clinched around the American flag. The wing tips are on top of my shoulders as the flag stopped just below my belly button.

I wonder what Ashton would think of my tats. I hope that she likes them as much as I do. I wonder if she has a tat. I can see her with a rose or butterfly. Even a cross or flag.

Thane had told me that one of Ashton's aunts has a husband and a lover who are accepted by the entire family. That had given us the idea that we could both be with Ashton. I did a little research on the Tucker family and found that Tara had been with the two brothers at the same time. It seems that the poly relationships were spread within the Tucker family. If they can do it so can we!

Thane is at work for another few hours, so I go to the gym close to Ashton's house. It is run by her uncle and friends. I walk in and sign up for a membership. As I am working out, I see a woman enter and kiss one of the guys behind the counter. I believe his name is Alex. A former undercover officer. I switched from the treadmill to the rowing machine. I was closer to the counter. I can hear the loving couple talking. They are so in love that you can hear it in their voices. I see that the woman is actually Ashton's aunt Kaylee. But this isn't Logan, her husband. This man, Alex, must be her lover. I see how they are so happy together. The door opens and Logan enters. He is instantly drawn to Kaylee and they kissed passionately.  Logan raises his head. He sees me when he looks around. We wave at each other. I go shower off my sweat.

As I walk towards the door, I encounter Alex and Logan. "Well hello, Justice! How are you today?" I am introduced to Alex.

We shook hands with a smile. "Hey, Logan. I'm good! How are you guys doing?"

"We're good! Are you a member now?"

"Well I had heard that this was the best gym in town. So I decided to join." I said as I lean against the wall by the counter. "I also heard that Ashton is a member here. That is a definite plus for me."

"Oh I see how it is now." Logan said with a smirk.

"Yes we do. He wants what we have." Alex added with his own smirk.

"Why would you say that? What do you have that I should want?" I ask with mischievous intent.

We all laugh together. Then they turned serious. "Don't hurt her. Ashton is to be treasured. The Tuckers are a ferocious group. They will definitely kill anyone who hurts her heart. If you are not a forever, don't start." Logan advised me.

"What he said." Alex said with a serious face.

"Look! Three way relationships are not a new thing to the Tucker family. I think that they have at least one for every generation. Tara , Griffin, and Asher. Us and Kaylee. Gina, Vic, and his cousin. Now it looks like you, Ashton, and Thane. Treat her right. This is your only warning." Logan said warningly.
