A/N: This part skips to the wedding in Ashton's pov ***
------------------------------------
Finally! My wedding day has arrived. Seems like it has taken forever to get here!Mom and every other woman in my family is in my bedroom, 'helping' me get dressed.
My dress is a white off-the-shoulder body hugging sheath dress with navy blue and grey sequins highlighting the knee high split up my right leg.
I am wearing my gma's diamond stud earrings. My mom is loaning me her diamond choker, the same that I wore for prom. My heels are navy blue.
My cousins are my bridesmaids wearing navy blue dresses like my own. But with white heels.
My bouquet is white tulips and red roses with navy blue and grey ribbons. My grandparents bought me a tiara to wear, and then I will hand down to my cousins and daughters. They want to start a new Tucker tradition.
"Ok! So we have something old. Something new. Something borrowed. And something blue. We are covered!" Mom said as she looks at me with a huge smile.
"Not yet! She needs a penny in her shoe." Gma holds up a shiny new penny. She and mom put it in my shoe.
"Now we are ready! Let's get me married!" I tell them all. We take another picture of us all dressed up. Then head downstairs to meet dad and gpa. They are holding the fake guns and grinning widely.
"Dad! Gpa! I know that y'all are not going to turn this into a Tucker circus!"
They laughed. "We have to, babygirl. David expects this from us." Gpa said. He came and kissed my cheek.
"But this is my wedding, you guys!" I whined and stomped my foot as if I were a spoiled child. Everyone laughed. I have never been spoiled.
"You're so cute when you do that foot stomping." Dad added with a smile. "But on a serious note. We all love you immensely. We want nothing but the very best for you and David. We wish you all the love, happiness, and time in the world. And no matter what you do or where you go. You will always be our babygirl. I love you for ever and always, Ashton Ginnifer Tucker Thomas." Dad said as he stands in front of me, holding my hands.
Tears start running down my face. Dad wipes them away. "I love you too, daddy!" He kisses my forehead then steps aside for everyone else. I tell each of them that I love them.
"Ok! Now that we've tried to ruin your makeup. And failed. Let's get you hitched." Gma tells us. She pushes gpa toward the back door. Mom followed after giving me a hug and kissing my cheek. I saw her wipe her eyes again. Dad handed her a handkerchief with a kiss to the head.
Gpa went out to stand under the arch. As the music starts up, Drake leads Brea down the aisle. Then Jax leads Jillian.
Then it was my turn! I look at dad just in time to see him swipe at a tear. "You ok, dad?"
He nods then says. "No baby. I'm not. My babygirl is getting married! Just only a week after graduating high school! I don't want to let you go, sweetheart. It's too soon for me."
"Oh, daddy! You are not letting me go. You are just adding to our family. I'm only going a mile away. We will still see each other every day." He wipes another tear. "I want to marry David."
Dad hugs me tightly. "Alright, sweetheart. Let's get you married then." We look back toward the door and see mom starting towards us as we step out of the door. She returns to her seat and smiles at us.
David smiles hugely at me. A smile that I return to him.
Everyone is wearing navy blue or grey. My favorite color is grey. David's favorite is navy blue.
