Chapter Fifteen
Jessa's POV
Niall grabbed my hand and ran off with me stumbling behind him. It was chaotic. The girls were throwing themselves over Niall. I felt sorry for him. Having to live with this everyday if someone just saw a flash of his face. What made this worse was it was my fault. If I never did the impression of a crazed fan girl no one would've suspected a thing and left us alone. I couldn't help but feel disappointed. The date finished so quickly. We made it to his car and we hurriedly got in. Niall started the engine and drove off.
"I'm sorry! I didn't think that - heck I wasn't thinking. Who in their right name would shout Niall Horan out and not expect to be mobbed. I'm sorry! I'm so stupid! I didn't mean to cut our date short." I gushed.
I looked at Niall for a pissed reaction but he simply grinned, " You sound disappointed. Awww! That must mean you like me! Savouringevery moment with me, worrying it might end." My cheeks were getting warm as a blush crept up my neck. He turned away from the road to look at me and quickly continued after seeing the cold glare I gave him. " B- but it's not over yet! You can't get away from me that easily. We still have the dinner part of this date!" He said cheerfully. Yup, my cheeks should definitely be crimson by now.
After I literally begged Niall to tell us where we were going, he still didn't budge. I sighed in defeat and rolled down the window. I looked outside, letting the wind mess up my black hair. Niall and I fell off into silence, but a comforting silence. I took the time to reflect on our date. I had fun. A lot of fun. I laughed and smiled a lot. I think it's the most times I laughed ever since I came here to London. One thing was for sure was that Niall certainly makes me happy.
I was pulled out of my thoughts when I noticed the car stopped moving. I got out and saw Niall right beside me. I looked at the place in front of me. " I begged all that time for you to only bring me to a Chinese Restaurant?" I exclaimed.
"Yup." He answered, casually.
I glared at him but I followed him inside. My nose was suddenly contaminated with such rare smells it was hard not to drool. Niall and I were led to a table for two. The waitress didn't even bring us menus, instead she just brought two plates of noodles.
Niall smiled sheepishly as his cheeks started to turn a light pink, " I come here often, so they know what I like to eat. I usually order the same for my dates. "
I raised an eyebrow, " So I'm not the first girl you brought here? Good to know..." I turned down to the plate of noodles and two glasses of coke. 101% for presentation. The same goes for smell. It was intoxicating. Taste? Hmm... let's see. I looked around for a fork, but I couldn't find anything. Suddenly a pair of sticks were jutted in my face. I stared at them incredulously, " What the heck are those?"
Niall, who was holding the sticks, replied slowly. "Chopsticks"
"I know that." I snapped. "What I mean is, what do you want me to do with them?"
"Eat with them? They don't have utensils here."
I grumbled, " What restaurant doesn't have a pair of forks?" before snatching the chopsticks from Niall. The most I picked up with chopsticks was a piece of sushi. I tried my first attack at it, but as I brought the sticks to my lips it slipped, falling back onto the plate. It happened a lot before I threw the sticks down with frustration, slumped back into my chair and cried, " Their like snakes!"
