Chapter 11 – Lost Friends

I finished getting dressed and went out to the kitchen and picked Asher up, I went to get something to eat I heard the door bell, I answered the door and nearly chocked on my saliva when I saw who it was “Carter?”

Zayn's POV

“Hay Zayn” Carter said, I was confused, why was Carter here “Your mum called my mum yesterday and said we were old enough to get over our fight so my mum sent me here to spend time with you”

“Zayn Breakfast” I turned and saw Harry with Hunter on his back and Cody on his front “Oh, you must be Carter, come in” I shot Harry a confused look and he sighed “Check your messages” I took out my phone and then realised it was dead.

“It's dead” Harry just shook his head in amusement, I followed Carter and Harry to the living room “Carter you can't expect me to actually forgive you do you?” I asked shocked that he would even consider it.

“Nope” he said turning to face me “But my mum said if I don't try to make a manse she'll kick me out” he scrunched his face a bit and looked at me “I really think she would as well” I knew she would kick him out if she found a reason.

“Fine, I'll show you the spare room” I motioned him to the staircase, he nodded and followed me “This is Asher by the way” Asher hid his head in my neck hiding from Carter.

“Hi” Carter said trying to sound like a likeable guy. He is, until he pulls you into a whole lot of trouble and doesn't take any of the blame leaving you with community service for three months, yeah very likeable.

“Uncle Zayn, help!” I saw Lucas running from Louis who seemed to have been dressing Lucas.

Louis looked at me and huffed as I stopped Lucas from running any further “I get Tyler dressed then Harry comes in saying Hunter and Cody attacked him and asked if I could dress Lucas, I thought, yeah sure Lucas is a good kid he won't run off, it's seems like he has been taking lessons from Tyler” he got Lucas's pants on, while speaking “There done” Lucas stood there pouting with his arms crossed over his chest.

I put Asher down, once he was down he clung to my right leg, I cursed in my head as Lucas clung to my left leg, I sighed and continued to try and walk, to show Carter his room “Here you go” I motioned to the room. I looked at him and saw an amused smirk on his face, I challenged that and looked at the boys “Ash, Luke how about you welcome Carter here to the house?” I said looking up at Carter.

Lucas and Asher both let go of my legs and went on Carters legs, he looked at me and shook his head “That's dirty” I just shrugged.

“Come on boys food time” I said and kids got off Carter and ran to the kitchen “Hungry?” I asked, he shook his head and I shrugged “Suit yourself.” I walked passed him and to the kitchen, we had pancakes made by Eleanor and Tyler, I smiled when I got a dinosaur one but ended up swapping Cody for his normal looking pancake.

After breakfast I picked up Asher and took him to the play room, I put him near the blocks and helped him build a tower. “It's taller than you Daddy” he laughed.

“I know!” I smiled. It was taller than me, only when I was sitting down though.

“Shouldn't you be trying to get your friendship back with Carter” I looked up and saw Louis.

I laughed a bit “No” I said simply.

Louis sat down and Tyler sat on his lap “Carter's nice” Tyler said looking at me.
