Kabanata 19
"HINDI SINASADYA"

I hate him yet here I am dancing with him! And it was my bodies fault for refusing to cooperate!

His lips caught my attention, thinking of the kiss we shared.

One careless kiss turned into a series of emotion. Dahil simula ng halikan niya ako ay pakiramdam ko ay ginayuma niya na ako. I couldn't forget about it. I think of his face every time I close my eyes, imagining his lips on mine!

I don't even like that kissed! It wasn't even passionate! He kissed me with fury, which is not how I want my first kiss to feel. I want it to be special, with full of gentleness and love. So, I find it inacceptable. Kung puwede lang na bawiin ang halik ay ginawa ko na.

Kaya naman, hindi ko maintindihan ang sarili ko. Because everytime he touch me, my body would always give in, and I don't even like him, particularly because his touch burn me, and that's not how I want my body to react to him.

"What are you thinking?" Tanong niya sa akin.

I looked away sadly. "Nothing. I want to go back to my table. Excuse me."

I walked away from Argus with a heavy sigh. I left him there and instead of going straight to our table I went out. I don't want to talk to anyone after that thought. A part of me feel disappointed with myself, and there's also a part of me that felt sad all of a sudden.

"Khael please, let's talk. Kausapin mo naman ako!"

That familiar voice made me stop right then and there. I turned to face the other direction and noticed Yvonne's back as she tried to pulled Khael. They're both standing still in the lobby as Yvonne look at him pleadingly while Khael looked annoyed.

Nangunot ang noo ko sa kanila at mabilis na naglakad papalapit. "What's going on here?"

Both of them turned to me. Khael jaw clenched while Yvonne groaned loudly.

"Pia, not now."

"Bakit kaylangan mong kausapin si Khael? At anong pag-uusapan niyo?" Nakakunot na tanong ko.

"Stay out from this. This isn't about you!" Iritadong sabi ni Yvonne sa akin.

Nangunot ang noo ko sa reaksyon niya. "I was just asking, okay? Why are you so upset?"

Hindi niya ako pinansin at muling binalingan si Khael.

"Khael..." tawag niya at makahulugang tiningnan ito, but Khael ignored her. His jaw clenched repeatedly while looking on the floor.

I looked at them with confusion.

"Okay?... What is this all about? At bakit mo ginagawa ito? I told you he has a girlfiend--"

"You don't know anything about us, so just shut up!" Biglang tumaas ang boses niya kaya naman nanlaki ang mga mata ko.

"Yvonne!" Khael shouted at her.

Napatalon si Yvonne sa gulat at binalingan si Khael.

"Khael--"

"Don't..." Khael shut her. "I told you I'm done! That was the last time, okay? Hindi na yun mauulit." Iritadong sabi ni Khael.

Nagpalipat-lipat ang tingin ko sa kanilang dalawa kasabay ng pagkalabog ng dibdib ko sa kaba, at sa mga bagay na pumapasok sa aking isipan patungkol sa kanilang relasyon. Napakarami nuon at hindi ko na masundan.

"Can anyone please tell me what's going on with you two?" I asked seriously this time.

Hindi sila nagsalita. Matalim akong tiningnan ni Yvonne samantalang nang bumaling naman si Khael sa akin ay kita ko ang takot sa kaniyang mga mata. I glared at him.
