"LOUD AND PROUD"

"What is this all about?" Tumayo ako sa harapan ng table na inuupuan ni Sophie.

I was shocked when she suddenly called me and ask me to meet her near our school cafe when I am fully aware of her dislike for me.

Tahimik niyang inilahad ang upuan sa harapan niya at nag-angat ng tingin sa akin. Napabuntong hininga naman ako at tuluyang naupo duon.

"What do you want from me?" Muling tanong ko.

"I want you to stay away from Argus." Walang paligoy-ligoy na sagot niya.

What?

Muntik na akong mabingi sa gulat dahil sa sinabi niya.

How bold of her to order me to avoid Argus, and to appear so sure that I would comply with her wishes.

Napangisi ako. In her dreams.

Kung sana sinabi niya ito sa akin noon, ay maaaring um-oo pa ako. But Argus and I are now in good terms, and I'm actually enjoying his company, kaya wala akong dahilan para layuan siya.

"What if I don't want to." I ask confidently.

Tumaas ang kilay niya at tinulak ang kaniyang phone sa harapan ko. Bumaba ang tingin ko duon at muling nagulat sa nakita.

"Then you give me no choice."

As I looked at the photo, my mouth dropped a bit. It was me and Paul kissing outside of the car, right outside of our house!

I looked at her in disbelief. "Did you just made me followed?"

Tumaas ang kilay niya. Nangunot naman ang noo ko.

It was taken weeks ago, when Paul drove me home and told me about his feelings. He even asked for a second chance, saying he needed to prove himself so he would be free from regrets, hoping that he could finally move on.

"Don't be too delusional, Pia. I was tailing Argus, hindi ikaw. Unfortunately, I caught you making out with your long time crush."

I squeezed my eyes shut. The kissed was initiated by Paul, yet she believes I'm making out with him?! I didn't even return the kissed! Paul is even aware that I don't feel that way about him!

What does she think of me? A play girl?

Muntik na akong matawa dahil sa pinagkamali niya.

I sighed and look at her boredly, "Look Sophie, I don't have time for your drama. And will you stop sticking your nose with other people's business? Seriously, you are starting to creep me out."

She glared at me, "Argus will always be my business. He's my friend."

I groaned loudly.

I doubt that. She's not doing this because he's her friend, it's because she obviously has something for him! She's just using her friends card to get away from it.

Malamig niya akong tiningnan, "If you will not keep your distance, sasabihin ko sa lahat kung paano mo nilalandi si Argus kahit na may kahalikan ka namang iba."

I frown.

Is she serious? Did she just blackmailed me? I can't believe her!

"People will think you have something for Paul yet you choose to let them do the bet to picked on you. This is just so unfair for Argus part, so I want you to stop seeing him and put an end with this ridiculous game. It's not even worth it." She said coldly.

She swiped her phone screen and made me look for another picture, and this time, it was me and Argus kissing inside the car!

Mas lalong nangunot ang noo ko.
