"HARD TO RESIST"
He finally said it... he likes me!
I looked at Argus bewildered about his confession.
"Let's have a bet then. After this, she'll get to choose who she wants." Seryosong sambit ni Paul.
What? The freaking did he just say!
Argus took a step forward. "What's the bet?"
"If I win, you'll take the position as the main vocalist."
"Paul, what are you doing?" Nakakunot ko siyang tiningnan. "Tumigil nga kayo."
"If I win?" Tanong ni Argus. Inignora ang saway ko.
I groaned loudly.
"I'll leave the band."
"What?!" I asked out loud.
"Hoy, Paul! Anong sinasabi mo diyan?" Boses ni Sky.
Napabaling kami sa kinaruruunan ni Sky at nakita siyang papalapit sa amin habang nasa likuran naman niya ang banda ng Zetes kasama ang iba pang fanbase na gulat na nanunood sa amin.
"So we're doing this to pick up a girl, huh?" Argus chuckled sarcastically, almost in disbelief. "My bad, but I'm not up for it."
Paul frown, "So you'll give her up that easily? Tss. What a coward."
"Paul." Saway ko dito sa seryosong tono.
Bahagyang lumapit si Argus dahilan para pumagitna ako sa dalawa.
"Stop... your making this worst." Saway ko sa kaniya.
Nagtiimbagang siya, "I'm not a coward. I just think your idea is stupid."
"What did you say?" Iritadong sambit ni Paul at bahagyang lumapit.
"Paul, this is not the right place." Zion said in a warning tone.
"I find your feelings too shallow for picking her on a bet." Argus said with gritted teeth.
"Argus, I said that's enough." Muling saway ko.
"Pia is not just a girl. She's worthy than that." Dagdag niya pa dahilan para matahimik kami.
My lips parted on his statement.
"Come on, let's get out of here." Argus pulled my arm.
Hinila naman ni Paul ang kabilang kamay ko dahilan para muli akong mapabalik sa kinatatayuan ko.
"Let go of her." Argus said in a warning tone.
"Who do you think you are to tell me what to do?" Paul brows shoot up before he pulled me again, "Come on, kaylangan nating mag-usap--"
Nagulat nalang ako ng biglang bumagsak si Paul dahil sa suntok ni Argus.
"Argus!" Sigaw ko at biglang nagkagulo.
