Virgil woke up to the sound of his alarm at 6. He groaned and turned it off. He was used to getting up early, but that didn't mean to he enjoyed it. He rolled out of bed and went to his wardrobe. He picked out an outfit for the day and went into the bathroom. He took his time getting ready and emerged from the bathroom at 6:50.

Virgil left his room at exactly 7. The guard outside was a different man from the night prior. Quietly Virgil said good morning to the guard who scoffed and fixed his feet loudly. Virgil looked at him nervously. He went to knock on Roman's door and hesitated. He was nervous to say the least, it was his first day. Behind him he heard a smug chuckle, "Don't know how to open a door?" Virgil looked at the guard who seemed proud of himself. Virgil knocked lightly on the door and opened it.

The prince's alarm was blaring but Roman wasn't awake. Virgil closed the door and walked over to Roman. He slept strange to Virgil, he slept flat on his back with his arms behind his head. Virgil looked at him carefully before softly shaking Roman.

Roman groaned loudly and opened his eyes after a moment. "Ah, fuck," He grumbled and looked up at Virgil. "Morning, your highness." Roman cracked a small smile, "Morning, sweetheart," Virgil flushed red and turned away from Roman, who chuckled. "What do you want me to do?" Virgil asked looking back at Roman, still a slight red. Roman stretched before answering. "Well, I'm not sure. I don't know what father has on the agenda for today." Roman answered, sitting up in bed. Virgil nodded.

Virgil was sitting on Roman's bed waiting for the royal to emerge from the bathroom. Roman room was a lot nicer than his own. He liked it. He had a queen sized bed against the left wall, it had a white wood head board detailed with gold, the bottom had a matching foot board. Roman's room didn't have a wardrobe, it had an entire closest which had a door leading to on the right side of the room. Roman had two glass doors on the back wall that lead to a balcony covered in red roses. On either side of the glass doors were book shelves. In between the closet door and bathroom door on the right side of the room sat a desk and chair.

Roman eventually walked out, dressed in his princely attire. Virgil got up off the bed and walked up to Roman. "So," Roman began to speak, Virgil reached up and straighten Roman's collar, which Roman smiled at. "We'll head to the throne room, my dad will probably be in there." Virgil nodded and stepped back away from Roman. "You didn't have to move away," Virgil blushed again and took another step back. Roman laughed and motioned for Virgil to follow him. They left the room and the guard bowed to Roman. "Good morning, your highness." Roman nodded and gave a good morning back.

The two arrived in the throne room where the king and queen were. Virgil bowed to the two, "No need, sweetie," Eleanor said. Roman lead Virgil to his throne. Roman sat down, "You can sit on the arm of my throne if you want, but during events you'll have to stand next to me." Virgil nodded and sat down the arm of the throne. Roman smiled and set his arm behind Virgil in case Virgil lost his balance.

"What are we doing today, father?" Roman asked. His father turned around to face him. "Well, we have to prepare for the suitors arrival. We have two days. Go with your assistant today into town and get fitted for a suit." Roman sighed and nodded. "Now, Roman." Roman sighed again and got up, he helped Virgil up and lead him to the two large doors at the front of the castle. Two guards opened the doors.

They were in town, taking the long way to the tailors as Roman said. Two guard walked behind them. "Suitors?" Virgil said quietly. "Sorry? What was that?" Roman asked. "You have suitors?" Virgil said a little louder. Roman sighed for what felt like the 100th time. "I'm for the throne. I can't rule alone according to father." Virgil nodded.

They reached the tailors finally, and the guards opened the doors for the two. The two workers bowed quickly to the prince. "Your highness! It's an honor, really!" One of the two workers said, he as elderly man with shaky hands. The other was younger, most likely the old man's son. "I need a suit please, within 2 days, preferably by tomorrow." The men nodded and motioned Roman to the stand to get his measurements. "Virgil," Roman waved Virgil over. "This is Virgil, he's my assistant, he'll pick out the color and style of my suit." Virgil looked at Roman surprised, Roman just smiled and winked at Virgil. The older man brought Virgil a book to look through.

Roman watched as Virgil flipped through pages, his concentration face was cute. Virgil looked up at Roman, he held the book up to show Roman. "I like that, Virge, good job." Virgil smiled and gave the open book to the old man. "Very nice! We'll start right away." Roman stepped off the stand and stood next to Virgil.

Virgil fell quiet as Roman and the tailors talked. Minutes passed and eventually Roman lead Virgil out of the shop. "We'll have to come back tomorrow, Virgil, so be ready." Virgil nodded and followed Roman back to the castle.
