"Janus!" Said man jumped before looking up at voice. A smile found its way onto his face as he saw Patton walking up. "Hello, Patton." He greeted, walking around the counter, allowing Patton to hug him. Patton hugged him tightly. "I've missed you so much, Jan!" Janus smiled and held Patton by his shoulders. "It's very good to see you, Patt, I've missed you as well."

Janus flipped the sign on the door to say closed, and left hand in hand with Patton. "Where are we going today, Patton?" Janus asked looking at Patton with fond eyes. Patton thought for a moment before gasping, "Let's go to the animal fair!" Janus cocked his head, confused, "Animal fair?" He asked. Patton nodded, bouncing on heels some, "Yeah! The animal fair is in town! They come once a year and bring all kids of animals." Patton told him. Janus hadn't been in this kingdom very long, so this was new to him. "Animals like cows, horses, sheep, goats, and pigs are mostly what's there, but there's also puppies, kitties, and some other tamed animals. It's my favorite time of year! I never get any animals though, no pets in the castle type deal, you know?" Janus nodded and followed Patton, "Well I would love to go with you." Patton squealed.

"Awww, Jan, look!" Patton exclaimed pointing at a baby cow. "It's so cute!" Janus smiled and nodded, "Not as cute as you, of course, but it's very cute." Patton blushed and smiled at Janus.

They continued to walk around the animal fair, Patton gushing about all the cute and baby animals. Janus just followed him around, a giddy smile on his face.

Patton gasped loudly causing Janus to jump. "Jan!" He yelled, rushing over to a booth. "Oh my god! Look!" Patton was pointing at a small, blonde, fuzzy puppy. Janus chuckled some, "That's very cute, love," Patton looked at the seller who started talking to them about the puppy. "It's 12 weeks old, a boy, it's very sweet and loves people. I'll take 30 gold for it." Patton sighed some, "I wish I could have it, but I work in the castle and I'm not allowed to have a pet." Janus looked at his sad boyfriend and sighed himself, "Patton, dear, I'm sure Roman would let you have a pet, plus with Ainslie," Patton debated for a second, "True, it would be beneficial to Ainslie. Okay! I'll take him!" Janus laughed some as Patton made grabby hands for the puppy being handle to him. Janus paid the sellae and thanked him before walking away.

"Thank you, Jan," Janus smiled and nodded, "Of course, dear," Patton held the puppy in his arms, cooing at it. "I'll name you cookie!" Janus laughed lovingly at the name.

"Roman!" Patton ran into the throne room where Roman and Virgil was, Ainslie sitting in Virgil's lap, Janus following him in. "Eeee! Puppy!" She yelled jumping down. "I got a dog, I hope that's okay," Patton said sheepishly. Roman nodded, "Sure, I don't care." Roman said, "Greetings, Janus." Janus nodded and watched Patton and Ainslie play with cookie.

Janus walked over to Roman and Virgil. "We went to the animal fair. I paid 30 gold for it." Virgil looked at Roman, "I want a cat." Janus laughed as Roman shook his head. "They had a bunch of kittens." Virgil gave Roman puppy eyes and Roman shook his head again. "Patt was worried you wouldn't let him keep the pup." Janus said. Roman shrugged, "I don't know why, I don't care." Janus nodded, "That's what I told him, but he doesn't listen to me much." Roman and Virgil laughed.

"I must get going, goodbye," Janus said to then royals before walking to Patton. "Goodbye, my dear, I have to leave." Patton pouted but jumped up to hug Janus. He kissed his cheek and walked him out.

"I want that one." Virgil said pointing at tiny brown kitten with green eyes. Roman laughed and nodded, paying for the kitten. "You shall be named toast." Roman looked at him weirdly, "I'm sorry, toast?" Virgil glared at Roman, "Don't fucking judge me."
