Virgil was scared to say the least. He was in a carriage with Roman, Remy and Sterling were driving the carriage and there were four other guards on horse back, two in front and two behind the carriage.

Virgil looked out the carriage window at the familiar path he took over a year ago now. But this time, it was for a different purpose. Virgil flinched some when Roman took his hand causing concern to fill Roman. "What's wrong, baby?" Roman asked softly causing Virgil to sigh and leaned against Roman. "I'm worried," Roman nodded and wrapped his arm around Virgil's shoulder, "I'll be with you every second, love. I won't leave your side," Virgil smiled gratefully at Roman.

The carriage came to a halt and Virgil took a shaky breath. Remy opened the door and Roman stepped out, and held his hand out for Virgil. Virgil didn't let go of Roman's hand as he stared at the house before them. Roman gave his hand a squeeze. They walked up to the door as one the guards knocked heavily. Virgil recognized him as the guard who got him from this very house a year ago.

The door swung open and Virgil's breath caught in his mouth. The scrawny man, Richard Allard, glared up at the guard not noticing Roman and Virgil. "What? I ain't got no more kids." The guard shook his head and stepped out of the way from Roman and Virgil. The man gasped. "What the hell are you doing here, you stupid son of a bitch?" He swore at Virgil.

Roman stepped in front of Virgil protectively, "That is no way to speak to your king," Roman said, causing Richard to scoff, "I wasn't talking about you," Roman smirked some, "You seriously didn't know your son is reigning king with me?" Roman said. "What?" Richard asked, shocked. Virgil laughed some, "Guess he doesn't want me as his son anymore, Ro." Roman looked down at Virgil expecting to see him upset but smiled when he saw him smiling.

Richard was staring at the couple before looking back at the guards and then back to the couple. "Why are you here?" He asked. Virgil smiled and stepped to look up at his father. "You," He pointed at his chest, "Are hereby under arrest by order of your kings." Roman smiled proudly at his husband, for being scared he's doing great. "What!?" Richard yelled and raised his hand to Virgil. Virgil immediately flinched and ducked down.

Two guards ran up and pushed Richard away as Roman grabbed Virgil and held him close, trying to calm him before he went into a panic attack. Richard was cussing at the guards and Virgil. "I don't want to see him anymore, I'll figure out his punishment later."

"I'm so proud of you," Roman whispered to Virgil. They were back in their room at the castle. "Why?" Virgil sniffed. He had been upset ever since they got back and were alone, he would only ever dare to cry in front of Roman, no one else. "Because, you stood up to him. You were so brave, and you were able to tell him he was going to prison. That takes courage." Roman expressed as he held Virgil. "I'm not very brave anymore," Virgil said with a dry chuckle. "It's okay to cry, sweetheart. It shows your healing." Virgil sighed and relaxed into Roman's arms. "I love you, Ro," He mumbled slightly. "I love you too."

Arthur opened the door to the new home. He was slightly surprised to see Roman standing there. "Roman? Is everything alright?" He asked, seeing the concerned look on Roman's face. Arthur let Roman in and they went to the living room. Roman sighed as he sat down on a chair. "I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do, father." Roman confessed. Arthur gave him an odd look, "Please elaborate," Roman sighed and again and shrugged. "As you know we arrested Virgil's father." Arthur nodded, "Well, I don't know how I'm supposed to punish him." Arthur nodded again, thinking.

"Well, he could have life in prison if you and Virgil think that's suitable," Arthur finally said, "That is what I would do." Roman nodded and stood up, "Thank you, father." Arthur stood as well and grabbed Roman's shoulder, "Listen to me, rule how you see fit, don't use me as an example, you are king, this is your kingdom, lead it how you want not how I did." Roman looked down before nodding, "But I'll always be here for you if you need help," Roman gave a small smile, "Thank you, father,"

Virgil watched as the cell door was slammed by a guard. He gave one last look at his father before walked up the stairs to leave his father to rot in a dungeon cell.
