Chapter 30

During the night , Day could feel the heat from Itt's body his fever got worse, Day woke him up and gave him medicine.

In the morning Day saw Itt was withering in pain. Day checked his ankle has swollen a lot. He went downstairs and saw Night and Gear has already arrived. 

"Gear get the car ready, Iet's take Itt to hospital" Day said

"Anything wrong?" Gear asked

"He has too much swelling in his ankle and had fever all through the night" Day responded. Gear went out to get car ready. Night went with Day to help him in bringing Itt down.

Day went up and saw Itt was awake and pressing his ankle. His face was distorted with pain. 

"P'Itt is it hurting a lot " Night asked. Itt  nodded and looked like he was about to cry because of pain. Day went and picked Itt . "Wha Where ?"

"We are going to hospital . Night pick up my wallet and phone " Day said. "No.. No .. I dont want" Itt said quickly. Day looked fiercely at Itt making him not say anything further.  They all sat in car and Gear drove to hospital. Itt was looking pale . Day  then held Itt's hand  and calmly said "You don't have to fear hospital. We all are with you. I am not going to leave you at all. No one can hurt you. "  Day knew Itt was in pain but more than that he was also afraid to go to hospital because of Ford incident. Itt felt better listening to Day's words and said in low voice "You not angry with me?"

"I am still mad at you because you are too careless. Why did you follow me to Ford's place yesterday. You know you have worsen your injury"  Day said in loud voice. Itt looked down and said "I don't want you to get in trouble because of me"

"You need to first take care of yourself. Do you understand" Day was fierce in saying that. Night turned and saw Itt was almost in tears "P'Day let's talk later. P'Itt looks in too much pain"

Day sighed as he was really angry at Itt. They reached hospital. Day asked Night to get wheelchair.  Day took him to doctor and asked Gear and Night to be vigilant and stay outside the doctor's room. While waiting for Doctor, Day was stressed and wanted to smoke but he didn't want to leave Itt for even a second.

Doctor examined Itt and saw infection has increased. He wanted Itt to get admitted to monitor but Itt resisted. Since the doctor was his father's friend, he even pleaded  so Doctor prescribed medicines for 2 days and told him clearly to do complete bed rest and stay away from water . If after two days condition is not improved then he will be admitted to hospital.  Itt agreed.

They went back home. Day placed mattress infront of television so that he does not get bored. They all took care of Itt. 

Brick used to startle whenever there was knock at gate. Gear and Night ensured door and gate was locked all time , not because they were afraid but for comforting Itt. Nick and Neil visited them couple of times.

Day dint leave Itt alone. Gear did all outside work from grocery shopping to getting medicines. Night was taking care of preparing food. Day was with Itt all the time making Itt comfortable. Day dint want to get to any argument with Itt so dint speak on topics disturbing him.

After two days Itt was feeling better, Day took him for checkup and inflammation has reduced. Doctor advised him to take precaution for another week and continue medicines.

On the way back Day asked Gear to stop the car at Nam's shop. "I will be back in few minutes. I will get your favourite cake. Anything else you want " Day asked Itt as he thought of pampering Itt a bit as he was on strict diet for last two days.

Itt wanted to have cake but did not want Day to go "No I don't want cake". Day remembered last time also Itt declined cake "Itt you have remove your fear.  You told me , you yourself want to deal with Ford but you have to be strong for that. Also you should be confident as you already dealt with him bravely"
