Chapter 39

Neil and Day went outside to talk. Day took Neil to a little secluded place where no one can listen to them.

Day told Neil that he suspect someone from medical staff is helping Ford. He wants to shift Brick from the hospital first as he is not finding it safe. Neil agreed and also felt same as Ford disappeared in hospital while both Nick and Neil searched throughout.

"We have to ensure we take out Brick out of hospital when no one is watching."  Day said.

"What's your plan?" Neil asked.

"I have asked Pa to arrange ambulance and we can take Itt out at night when..." Day said

"What about Ford how you want to handle him?" Neil asked

"Let's first take Itt out of hospital. He has more people as he is able track all of us. I am planning to .." Day was interrupted with his phone ring.

Itt's father called for telling 3 guards have reached hospital and are in causals. He has messaged their details to Day. Also he has arranged an ambulance with two male nurses and they will reach in an hour.  And he is getting medical setup done at home.

"Pa .. Ford knows garage and our houses.  Can I take him to Kanchanburi." Day asked after giving some thought.

Itt's father was silent for a while  "I do not think long travel will be good for Itt. I and your Mom have bought a house for Itt and you in Bangkok near riverside which we wanted to gift later but I think time demands now,  you  both can go there. No one knows about that place."

Day sighed "Thanks Dad!" 

" I will send the location and take care of yourself too. That's it" Itt's father disconnected.Day felt too relieved thinking he also has someone elder whom he can depend on and who cares about him like his son. He has also started thinking and respecting Itt's parents as his parents.

Day looked around and  saw Neil was on another call. Day checked message from Itt's father who's sent pictures of all three guards and their contact numbers.  Then he went outside hospital gate to monitor the situation and saw couple of black cars similar to Ford's entourage outside.

"All set!  Nan and his boys will be here. Also Nan will be checking with Sage" Neil said enthusiastically as he saw Day coming towards him.

Day nodded and gestured him to lower his voice suggesting people outside. They both went inside as Nick was standing infront of ICU worriedly. They saw Doctor inside ICU.

"What happened ?" Day asked Nick in tensed voice.

"Day .. I saw Brick's finger moving." Nick said excitedly making Day's eyes open wide.

Doctor came out and said shortly to Nick "He is still unconscious. You must be mistaken."

"How long he need to stay in ICU" Day asked doctor who responded two more days.

Day looked at Doctor suspiciously and said "Can I get the copy of his test results?"  Doctor left without answering pretending to have another patient to check immediately.

Nick looked at Day "I am sure.. I saw him moving."

Day looked at Nick and Neil "Stay here. " He went to reception and noticed one of the guard who was sent by Itt's father was standing near reception.  Day then asked for results from medical staff which they said they will give in sometime but Day  stressed on getting it immediately. They guided him to another counter and they handed him the test results.  Day went  back and asked Neil to get it checked by another doctor.  Neil immediately took the report  and scanned and emailed to his family doctor in London.  Seeing which Day realized he can also take opinion from Itt's father's friend as he knows Itt's medical history. Then he sent the report to Itt's father and asked him to check with his friend.
