Chapter 18

"Keep the luggage in the car I will lock the door". Day said to Itt 

Neil and Nick were in car outside. Gear and Night were transferring luggage from their's  to Neil's car. Itt got his luggage and placed at the back of car and Day followed. They all greeted each other.

They all decided to go by single car and Neil took his car which was a 7 seater. 

"I am so excited" Nick shouted. Gear patted on Nick's head and asked Neil "Shall I drive?"

"Let's switch midway" Neil said. Gear nodded

"Gear let's sit at back" Night said and Gear agreed and followed. Day and Itt sat in the middle and Neil and Nick in front. 

Neil started driving and played light music. 

"Gear you have been there before?" Nick asked. 

"Yes when Itt got tired of Day and ran away from him" Gear smirked . Day turned back to stare Gear when Night kicked Gear " It was for making P' remember". 

"Haha so this is running place for Brick.  Brick do you remember when you first ran and Day arrived when Ball was hugging you" Nick said  and looked towards Itt

Itt was looking outside window and dint respond. Nick shouted again "Itt"

Itt was startled as if he was in deep thought "Yes .. what?" He was not paying attention to any conversation. Nick looked at Day.

"Are you sleepy?" Day changed conversation seeing his reaction. Itt just nodded and started looking out of window again.

"I am also sleeping , it's still early" Gear said from back. No one spoke much after that.

Nick kept talking to Neil softly.  Gear and Night slept at back. Day was glancing at Itt who fell asleep after some time.

"Let's take a break , stop at next Seven Eleven, we can get  something to eat" Gear said after he woke up and everyone agreed.

Neil stopped the car and they all went out to freshen up and get something to eat. 

"Itt .. Itt" Day tried to wake Itt as he was still asleep.  Itt  woke up but he was still drowsy and saw only they are in the car. "Where are others? Itt asked in sluggish voice. 

"They went out to get something to eat. You want to use restroom as we will not get any stop after this" Day said while brushing his hair back as it was messy.

Itt nodded and they went out. "I am getting coffee. What you want to eat? Day asked.

"Nothing" he shook head. "I will get for you" Day said but this time he was fierce.

Itt went to restroom and went back and stood outside car till others came. Day got flavoured  milk and snacks for Itt " Drink  it" Brick  pouted.  Day stared at Itt making him have it.  He drank half milk and din't touch snacks. Everyone was back and Gear asked to switch driving which Neil agreed. Neil and Nick sat at back this time ; and Gear and Night sat in front. 

Day's patience was running out now "Itt finish this now if you don't want me to shout at you." Itt looked down and started drinking milk. Everyone heard but stayed out of it as they can see Itt has become too weak. "Eat this too" Day added handing some snacks. 

Gear started playing some loud music and Nick and Night started singing along.

Itt was eating with vey slow pace. Day restrained himself to say anything further and closed his eyes to rest.

Suddenly a car in high speed overtook them and all the guys in car shouted and waved at them while crossing them. This provoked Gear and he started driving fast.  Nick also started cheering for Gear in fun and  Night was holding him not to race as it's not safe but none realised  Itt's condition.

Itt was trembling now. The snacks in his hand fell and he clinched the car seat and shouted "Stop. Please stop" making Day awake who dozed off for a while. Gear dint hear as music was loud.

"Gear  Gear stop the car now " Day shouted and hugged Brick " Brick it's ok breathe slowly" 

Gear slowed the car and stopped near next exit. They all got tensed seeing Itt.  They were aware but dint think it was so severe except Day. Itt was struggling to breathe. 

"Itt breathe slowly" Day held Itt and kept rubbing his back " Night pass me water. Nick get the medicine box from back" They both immediately handed Day . Itt was trembling and tears falling from his eyes.

Day made him take the medicine. After some time Itt calmed down and saw others looking at him.  He felt embarrassed " Sorry guys" he said in low voice.

Night hit Gear "He should be sorry" and Neil patted Nick's head "This guy too"

Gear and Nick looked apologetically at Itt.  "I am ok now" Itt said.

Day held Itt's hand strongly. Gear was very cautious throughout remaining route and drove slowly. Day made Itt tilt his head on his shoulder. After a while Itt fall asleep and Day moved his head on his lap so that he can be more comfortable.

They reached and Gear parked the car. Itt was still asleep  and Day dint want to disturb him  "You guys go and set the tents. I will stay till he wakes up"

All nodded . Gear left the car on for AC and all four took the tents and luggage including Day's and Itt's to set up.

Itt opened his eyes which were heavy because of crying. Day placed a kiss on his cheek making Itt shy. Day shuffled Itt's hair side to side lovingly making it messier seeing his expression.

"Are you feeling better" Day asked and Itt nodded.

"Should we go out" Day asked and Itt was hesitant.

"Day " Itt said 

"Hmm" Day looked at Itt prompting him to speak

"Day I dont want to be so weak" Itt said in low voice." I am feeling embarrassed"

Day looked at Itt and embraced him "Itt you are not weak. You are brave. You have faced so many things . I can't tell you how much I admire you for not leaving me and taking care of me when I lost my memory. And everyone around us admire you for that"

Itt's eyes started flooding again . Day separated and looked at Itt " We will fight this phase also together. You are not alone"

Itt was getting emotional . "ok no more crying, let's enjoy our vacation"

Itt nodded and felt better hearing Day's words.  They both went out and saw Gear and Night were setting up their tent while Gear was teasing Night . Neil was smoking while Nick was setting up his tent alone cursing Neil. Day and Itt's tent was already set up.

 Seeing Itt coming both Gear and Nick came towards him and started talking random stuff. Day went towards his tent to keep remaining luggage in his hand.  Gear was teasing Itt while Nick defending him. Finally Itt was talking.

Day  heard Itt's voice "Gear I will kick you" and came out of tent and saw him running after Gear with Night and Nick rooting for Itt. He went towards Neil smiling while looking at Itt and sat next to him. Neil shared his cigarette which Day took and started smoking. " You look relieved now " Neil said smiling  as he was also watching over Brick.
