Chapter 47

Day panicked and shouted Itt's name running around but he cannot find him. He was blaming himself, his heart was pounding, he held his head in frustration not knowing what to do. 

He saw the car door was unlocked and his jacket fallen down which was half on car floor with some part touching ground. He was having all negative thoughts. 

He just cannot lose Itt like this.  He picked the jacket and yelled like mad to take out his frustration making people on streets to turn and look at him. 

He ran across to check all nearby places then sat in car. His first and foremost suspect was Ford. He immediately took out his phone and was about to dial Itt but felt he cannot react impulsively putting Itt at risk. He first calmed himself down to think rationally.

Then he recalled he can track Itt's phone and checked his location.  The tracker showed Itt is not far. Day started following hastily. He speeded the car , he was sweating, his mind was conjuring all bad thoughts. 

He drove for half an hour, it seemed Itt was also in a moving vehicle. He tried to drive fast but was lagging as the time he spent searching for Itt near the store was the difference. He felt he should have checked the phone first.

He broke few traffic signals and was about to bump a boulder but skilfully managed to divert. He noticed he was diverted to a forest area all secluded. Now it seemed he was nearing Itt.

The road was all bumpy and tracking signal showed Itt is no longer moving and suddenly he lost the signal.

He kept driving to the place which was last traced. The path was full of blockages and was not a path where car can be driven. But Day managed to reach after 45 mins. He saw nothing there , and stopped the car, he took out his gun and came out of car. It was just trees and some rocks . He walked ahead looking around and saw an old house whose walls were all chipping the  spider web was hanging outside.

He went inside and saw it was beautifully furnished and luxurious house but he did not see anyone inside. The house was big , he kept walking while being alert with his gun. 

He saw a room with door closed. He turned the knob to open it and to his shock , he saw Itt lying naked on a plushy king size bed. He ran towards him, he tried to shook Itt but he was not conscious.  He saw Itt's clothes scattered on the floor.

Suddenly Day heard some ruffling noise and he pointed the gun towards the window from where noise was coming and shot. He got up and opened window but saw a wild cat passing. There was no sign of anyone. He came back to Itt, he shouted Itt's name but  he was not responding.  Then he heard the sound of cars, he looked through window but saw nothing. He did not want to go outside leaving Itt like that but he was pretty sure it was someone who kidnapped Itt and brought here. He was curious but he cannot make another mistake now. Day picked clothes and  put on Itt. He carried him and ran towards the car. 

He placed him in the front and reclined the seat and put on the seat belt.  He looked around but could not see any vehicles. Day sat on driver seat and looked at Itt closely. He saw except his original wound on shoulder which had some blood seeping out, there were no new wounds except some slight scratches on his back.  Itt's lips were red and plump . Day's heart was aching  but he was not emoting , he really dint know what happened to Itt.  He did not want to think  in that direction.  His blood was boiling in anger but he did not let those thoughts over power him as currently he wanted to focus on Itt's safety. He wanted to take him to hospital quickly.

He started driving ,the path was complex and there was no mobile signals. He was almost lost. Day kept driving , but he kept coming to same point. It was almost dark now. He did not have any other way of contacting anyone for help. And staying in forest area was dangerous . He has to find a way quickly.

 Itt did not show any signs of waking up. Day was really worried. He kept glancing and calling his name in the hope Itt will react but unfortunately Itt seemed to be in deep sleep.

After driving a while , he saw a road and took a breather thinking he is near city. He was finally on a road and signals were back. He saw he was still midway to kanchanaburi. Day thought of going back to Bangkok seeing Itt's condition . But first put  closest hospital in GPS and started driving. 

He reached hospital. It was small hospital which can be categorised more as a dispensary which had just one doctor and a nurse. Day did not tell much details to Doctor but just told that Itt was lying unconscious.

Doctor checked Itt and did some tests and told that some strong sedative was given to him.  He redressed his wounds and told there seem to be no other injuries but he should do additional tests in some big hospital. For now he added drip to dilute the effect of sedatives but it might take  whole night for him to wake up.

Doctor told Day he can stay in  the room along with Itt as they do not get much patients in night. Day stayed overnight. He dozed off rom time to time as he was exhausted too but kept checking on Itt. 

Day was feeling guilty that he put Itt in danger as he left him alone in car so did not dare to call anyone his parents or friends. Instead he did not pick Night's call or respond to Itt's father's message asking if they reached. He was just hoping Itt wakes up.

In the morning , Itt woke up but was groggy as he did not respond to Doctor who was asking if he is in any pain.

"Itt are you ok?" Day asked worriedly but Itt just looked at him expressionless as if he was not registering anything. 

Doctor checked his vital and cleared his condition stating there was no issue and sedatives effect might be over in some hours.  He asked Day to get additional tests done as a precaution.

"Itt let's go home" Day said to Itt but he gave confused expression.  Day was worried , he just wanted to believe Doctor that Itt will be fine after few hours. His mind was recalling the time when he forgot Itt, and thought how Itt would have felt. He felt he will not be able to bear same.

Keeping aside all his emotions, Day took Itt to the car and since Kanchnaburi was just 1 hr away he decided to go there instead of Bangkok. Also he was not ready to face anyone and tell the situation.
