Chapter 42

Day rushed towards Itt who was trembling and breathing heavily.

"Itt .. What happened?" Day spoke softly looking into Itt's eyes.

"That... That noise?" Itt said with a quavering voice while holding his head.

Day realized Itt must have been startled with the noise of falling chair "Nothing .. I am sorry. I disturbed you as chair fell because of me."

Itt just nodded but he was again having severe headache. Day tried to calm him "Breathe slowly.. It will be fine" but it was not working as Itt was hardly listening to Day .

Day realized nurse was not in the house so he got up and as instructed by nurse prepared the syringe. Itt was hardly co-operating so Day has to apply little force to hold Itt's upper arm and injected the medicine making Itt scream. Day was as not too skilled so it did hurt Brick and also resulted into little bleeding. Day immediately picked a cotton ball and placed it on injected area to stop bleeding.

He then hugged Itt and rubbed his back. After a while Itt's breathing was normal "Is it better now?" Day asked after separating a bit to see his face.

Itt nodded feeling exhausted . Day wiped his tears.

"You want to lie down to rest" Day asked gently.

Itt shook his head as he was tired of resting too but his eyes were drowsy "My head feels heavy but I am tired of lying down."

"But.." Day saw IV attached to Itt's hand then asked "You want to walk a little."

Itt nodded as Day helped him to get up. He made Itt put his hand on his shoulder for complete support and with other hand he carried IV stand.

Itt stumbled a bit but Day held him. They walked out of room as Day showed the house to Itt , taking him near the pool. Itt smiled looking at pool "Is this ours?" 

"Yes your parents gifted this house to us ." Day said  and made him sit on lounge chair so that he does not get tired.  Day sat next to him as the chair was wide enough for two to sit. Itt leaned on Day's chest  but groaned in pain. Day  back hugged him while sitting but was very cautious not to touch Itt's left shoulder or head..

"Let's swim once your wound gets recovered" Day said making Itt pout. "I am tired" Itt said in exhausted tone.  Day tried to encourage him by saying that he is making quick improvement and even walked today.  Day was also trying to initiate conversation about house and food to distract him but Itt was not speaking much . Day was feeling uneasy with Itt being so quiet.

After some silence Itt said " Day .."

"Ummm " Day hummed to listen.

"Regarding F... Ford.." Itt started.

"Itt you do not have to worry about that. We got the proof you recorded . Now he will be behind bars" Day interrupted but Itt was silent. Day then continue to praise Itt on his smart move on using camera but heard nothing back. He then called Itt's name but no response. Day cautiously moved Itt such that he can see his face and saw Itt asleep. Day realised the medication might have made him doze off. He then called the cook to assist to pick IV stand and he carried Itt in his arms to his room and made him lay on bed covering him with blanket.

After he saw Itt is in deep sleep he called Neil again and asked him to send the complete recording to him.

He saw complete recording and was full of rage seeing that. The recording did not have Itt's face but he can see everyone else including when Night was held and when anyone hurt Itt. Day really tried to control his emotions gritting his teeth as he did not want Itt to get shocked again.  He really wanted to go out and hit Ford.
