Chapter 16

All three looked at each other anxiously.

"Ok buddy you rest we will talk later." Nick said to ease atmosphere. He signalled Day and Neil to come out in balcony. 

"You were right. We need to take him to Doctor." Nick said looking at Day.

"I think give him some time, he has lot to process" Neil said. Day was too tensed now and lit cigarette and started smoking. 

"Why he said no for Nan , did something happen that's bothering him." Nick said but neither Day nor Neil had any response.

"Let's change the atmosphere, he should be ok after sometime." Nick said as he felt and told Day "I will call Gear and ask him to come with Night. You get a cake" 

"Oh I have in car I will get now" Day said in low voice.

"I will come along and let's get some drinks. Bastard you stay with Itt " Neil felt Day also went through lot and needed someone to talk. He put his hand across Day's shoulder and went out.

"Are you ok? " Neil asked Day

"I am not sure." Day paused "You have no idea how I felt when I saw Itt pointing gun to himself. I am not able to erase that moment from my mind. And seeing Itt like this..."

"You have to give him sometime, your accident impacted him a lot. You losing memories  and he was hurt every time you mistreated. But he held himself bravely and took care of you. We all saw a different Brick, he was so responsible and mature suddenly. But may be recent events has broken him more. You have to keep your patience now like Itt did. I know it's difficult situation for you" Neil said which Day was hearing seriously and agreed with him.

"By the way are you feeling ok? Let's go to doctor once, you should get your checkup done too with your memories back" Neil added.

"I am ok" Day said shortly but worried about Itt

"Then let's get some booze. We should celebrate today with your memories back." Neil said in excited tone to change mood and patted Day's back strongly.

"I got some food and booze but not enough as Gear and Night will be coming too. Let's get some more." Day said and they both went out to get food and drinks.

Nick called Gear and told him all the events and asked him to come over with Night to celebrate Day's memory back as he felt good atmosphere will change Itt's mood.

Suddenly there was a scream, Nick ran towards Itt who was sitting with startled expression and trembling. Nick held Itt  " Did you see bad dream?" Itt nodded .

"Take deep breaths. I will get you water" Nick was about to go when he held his shirt.

Nick saw he was scared so sat down holding his hand. "It was just a dream. Take deep breaths"

Itt was trying to calm himself by breathing slowly when Day and Neil entered and noise of door made him tremble more. "It's Day . Calm down " Nick said again

"What happened?" Day asked in tensed tone.

" He saw a bad dream. Do you have herbal inhaler? " Nick asked.

Day ran and searched through kitchen drawers and  found one. Nick got up  in order to let Day sit but Itt was still  holding Nick's shirt. Day gestured Nick to keep sitting and gave him perfume. Nick made him inhale causing Itt come out of shock. He shrugged and then saw everyone looking at him with concern "I am ok now " Itt said in low voice.

No one asked anything further. 

Nick changed the topic " What all you both got?"

Neil started  "Sang som rum,  Basil Pork belly, Guam Tiew ruea, Moo ping and ..." Day was just looking at Itt who looked very indifferent.
