Special Chapter 2 (Continued...)

Track boys ran to assist Itt who had his eyes almost close as he was taking Day's name . Tan ran towards Itt too. They picked Itt and brought Itt outside the track on a stretcher.

Nan approached Itt but Tan resisted him and instead was taking Itt to his car. Nan asked Frog to handle Tan as Nan came closer to Itt. Itt's eyes were half closed. He looked at Nan and lifted his finger towards track " Day ..Day "

"Itt .. all is ok. Day is fine. Day was not riding bike " Nan told Itt but he was not registering at all. But Itt continued "Day.. I am sorry .. Day I am sorry." As Nan tried to comfort Itt , an in-house doctor came to check Itt's condition. He did checkup and told there were no major physical injuries but he seems to be in shock. The doctor gave Itt first aid and bandaged the bruises which he received as his body skidded against the ground but since the bike was not in speed it was not too serious but his arm , thigh and lower back had lot of scratches.

Nan looked at Itt with concern as he was continuously taking Day's name and apologising. Doctor gave Itt sedative to calm down and allowed Nan to take Itt after telling he should consult therapist if he is still same after waking up.

Nan took Itt to his car and Frog assisted . Frog already spoke to Tan and handled things telling Nan is his close friend.

Nan laid Itt at back seat as Frog sat with him to hold him. Nan sat to drive and called Day.

Day did not pick the call. Nan called again and Day declined the call. Nan messaged "Call back. It's urgent about Itt"

Nan received call immediately and came a voice "What happened? Is Itt ok?"

"He is fine now. I am taking him home. He met with a small accident " Nan told as Day panicked "Give him phone. I want to talk to him"

"Doctor gave him sedatives so he is asleep now" Nan responded.

"What .. where are you ? I am coming" Day told.

"Hia please calm down. It was a small accident. He is fine now but he needs you. I am taking him to your house." Nan spoke softly. Day did not respond and disconnected.

Nan reached home and saw Day was already standing outside. Day rushed towards Nan's car and Frog helped Day to take Itt out. Day picked him up and took him inside and Nan and Frog followed.

Day put him on bed and looked at Nan.

Nan told him the whole incident what he was aware of without hiding anything. Day's brain had gone blank "Can you stay with him for some time."

Nan was confused "Hia.. where are you going . Itt needs you now" But Day took the key and headed outside. Nan followed "Hia you can't leave him like this. He only needs you." and held Day's wrist to stop. Day punched him back "I will not be able to control my anger. Why he raced?" he said in shaky voice as tears dropped from Day's eyes.

"Hia he only needs you. Pease talk to him softly when he wakes up, he is already scared." Nan repeated. Day took a deep breath and apologised Nan for hitting him and went back. Its was still asleep.

Nan and Frog left on Day's insistence as Day was aware he had to go to track.

He sat next to Itt whole time . It was almost midnight and came a voice "Day ... Day "

"Itt I am here " as Day touched Itt's head softly. Itt opened his eyes and saw Day infront of him. He got up with a jerk and hugged Day and started crying like a baby. Day rubbed his back continuously without stopping. "I am here with you . All is fine" Day said trying to calm Itt.

Itt cried till he was exhausted when Day got up to get some water for him. Day entered room and he saw Itt checking his wounds as he twisted his face in pain while touching his arm.

Itt saw Day and tried to act normal. Day handed water to Itt which he drank whole glass in one go. Now Itt had come out of his shock but was scared seeing Day's eyes "Will you.. Will you chain ..." Itt stuttered and looked down.

Day sat next to Itt and said in stern voice "No let's talk like adults"

Itt's stance immediately changed and he stretched his hand extending his pinky finger "Promise you will not hurt me like last time" he said widening his eyes.

Day laughed and mumbled "I think first you need to act like one"

"What?" Itt asked as he was unable to hear clearly.

"Nothing . Is it hurting lot " Day asked while looking at bandages"

Itt now became more comfortable and started telling Day about the whole thing as both of them laid down with Day embracing Itt carefully not touching his wounds.

Itt told even small details to Day from telling specifications of each bike to appearance of Tan's friends. He fell asleep as he was about to tell about race but Day knew that later part from Nan.

Day looked at Itt and realised his act to chain up was wrong and it is much easy to talk and kissed Itt's forehead and whispered "Sorry for hurting you last time."

From then onwards Day have softened towards Itt and Itt did not feel the need to hide anything. Ofcourse Day still does not allow him to race and Itt can understand the reason; but Itt is stubborn.

Few weeks later...

"Day you are really bad...  You can  at least let me buy sports car if not bike"... Itt shouted.

Day shook his head in frustration...
