December 2nd - Thursday

Liam P.O.V.

When I told my parents all about the supernatural one month ago, they reacted way better than I had expected. At first they thought I was joking and laughed, then when I showed them my glowing eyes, fangs and claws they were speechless, with no reaction. Then my mom started crying. But when I thought she would kick me out of the house, she came up to me and gave me a tight hug. My stepfather followed her.

I told them everything about my pack, about the adventures, about the fights (of course not elaborating this last point), and they stayed by my side until the end. Both crying for all I've been through.

"You're not scared of me?" I remember asking.

"You're our son, we could never be scared of you. We love you Li."

So today when they woke up and I said we needed to talk they immediately sat in front of me on the kitchen table and exchanged worried glances.

"Who do I need to kill?" Asked my dad, ready to stand up and grab his golf stick.

"No one. It's nothing bad, I promise." I answer quickly. "Do you remember Theo?"

"The vampire?" My mum looks confused.

"No! There 's no vampire, mom." I facepalm and my dad starts laughing.

"It's the chimera boy right?" My dad asks and I nod. "The one with pretty eyes."

"Yes, the one with nice eyes."

It wasn't needed much to convince my parents to let Theo stay with us. My mom only needed to hear the words 'homeless' and 'he's sleeping on his truck' to stand up and run to the guest room.

"Of course he can stay, I see you have already prepared the room." She smiled and gave me a hug. "I'm proud of you. You can tell your friend that he can come whenever he feels ready."

"Thanks mom, thanks dad." I grab my school bag and head to the door. "I have to go, Mason must be arriving."

I say goodbye to my parents and close the door behind me seeing Mason's car stopping on the driveway.

"Hey!"

Mason and Corey smile at me as I sit in the back seat of the car.

"Good morning." I smile back as Mason starts driving to school.

"What happened?" Mason has his eyebrows arched.

"What do you mean?" I ask even more confused.

"You're happy."

"And why is that weird?" I narrow my eyes at Corey who looks at me questionably.

"You haven't looked this happy the past few weeks." Corey explains.

"Oh..." I can't tell them Theo is back yet, they won't like it. "My mom bought me that game that we've been talking about."

"Really!?" Mason screams excitedly, almost hitting the car on the opposite lane.

"MASON! What the hell?" I yell and Corey puts his hand over his chest. "You almost got us killed!"

"You are supernatural creatures, you can't die just because of a car crash." He rolls his eyes as if his statement solved something.

"What about you? You're not supernatural, love." Corey puts a hand on Mason's tight like he didn't just try to kill us all.

"I'm too pretty to die."

This time I roll my eyes and focus myself on the road.

"Anyways, we should go to your house after school to play the game."
