I wake up with sunlight hitting my face. I roll over in bed to hide my face and find Liam sitting next to me looking at his cell phone and probably sending messages to someone, considering the speed at which his fingers touch the screen.

"Good morning, sleeping beauty." Liam looks away from me and jumps out of bed.

"Good morning." I stretch and rub my eyes.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yes. Really good." Thanks to Liam.

"I've been thinking..." Liam sits on the floor and puts on his shoes, only now do I realize he's fully dressed.

"You can think?" I try to look surprised and Liam throws the shoe he hadn't yet put on at my head.

"Bastard."

I throw his shoe back and get up from the bed.

"What were you thinking about?" I go to my room and Liam follows me.

"It's the weekend, we have nothing to do, we can go to the zoo. It's on the list and it's a good way to spend the time."

"I thought you had already been to the zoo."

"Yeah, but you didn't. And I won't let you go to the zoo alone, it's not fun."

Liam throws himself on my bed and scrolls through his phone while I change my clothes.

"There's a zoo an hour away from here, so as soon as we're ready we should leave."

I nod uselessly since Liam isn't looking at me and I put on my dog sweater.

"Did you fall asleep again?" I ask curiously as I comb my hair.

"No. I said I'd stay awake..." Liam's gaze lands on me and his words die when he looks at my sweater.

"What? Does it make me look bad? I look ridiculous, don't I?" I grab the sweater ready to take it off.

"No! It looks good. You're just different. You look cute." Liam has a playful smile on his face.

"I'm not cute." I grab Flash and throw him at Liam's head.

"If you say so."

We leave the room and head to the kitchen where Liam's parents are already having breakfast.

"Good morning boys." Liam's mother approaches us, gives Liam a hug, and gives me a comforting touch on the arm. When we met, she realized that I didn't really like hugs, so now she just greets me with soft arm touches or warm smiles.

"Good morning."

"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Geyer." I say and sit at the table next to David.

"We already said you can call us Jenna and David." David says before standing up. "Liam, your mom and I are going out today and we won't be back until tonight. What are you two going to do?"

"We're going to the zoo."

"That's so cool." Liam's mother sighs. "I haven't been to the zoo in years."

Liam's parents say goodbye to us and leave us alone in the big house.

"What do you want to eat?" Liam asks, still standing.

"Cereal."

Liam takes two bowls, two spoons, milk and a box of cornflakes.

"What the hell are you doing?" Liam shouts when he sees me pouring the milk into the bowl.
