December 11th - Saturday
Theo P.O.V.
"It's okay, breath."
I open my eyes with my heart beating wildly. Another nightmare. This time, at least, I managed to wake up without screaming. Liam is looking at me with worry and his hand is holding mine tightly, black veins running up his arm.
"Thanks." That's the only thing I can say because three knocks are heard on the door right after.
"Wake up sleepyheads. I came here to have fun, not to watch you sleep!" Harper exclaims excitedly from the other side of the door. "Mason and Corey are already here."
"We'll be right there." Liam answers, not very pleased about having to get up.
Liam goes into the bathroom and I wait for him lying on the bed. The terror of the night still haunts me. Liam comes out of the bathroom with a towel wrapped around his waist and his wet torso uncovered, his hair falls into his face and I fix my gaze on his chest before looking away.
"You can use the bathroom, I'll get dressed and I'll get some of your clothes from your room, I'll leave them at the door."
I pass Liam and enter the bathroom, my body heating. I turn on the shower and let the anxiety go down the drain.
I clean my body and when I open the door to get the clothes that Liam left for me I find my sweater with the puppy, a t-shirt and some jeans.
"There's no way I'm wearing that." I murmur, throwing the sweater across the room. Mason, Corey and Harper would never see me wearing that.
"Yes you are." I startle when I hear Liam's voice coming from the kitchen.
"Are you talking to yourself? You're crazy." I hear Harper's voice next. "Oh, you're talking to Theo."
I walk across the room and pick up my damn sweater and put it on. When I arrive in the kitchen, Liam greets me with a mocking smile.
"Good morning." Harper smiles too, not seeming to find anything strange about my sweater, Mason however bursts into laughter.
"What are you wearing?"
"A sweater that I'm going to use to strangle you if you don't stop laughing."
Mason stops laughing immediately and his scared face makes the others laugh.
"Take this." Liam tosses me a sandwich wrapped in a napkin and a juice pack. "We have to leave, so you have to eat on the way."
"What are we going to do anyway?" I ask when we leave the house.
"Play mini golf." Corey says sitting in the backseat, followed by Harper and Mason.
"I don't know how to play mini golf." I whisper to Liam who sits in the passenger seat.
"I'll teach you, and it's on the list, so I thought it would be cool."
I start the car and look at the sandwich and juice pack in my hands.
"You have to feed me so I can drive."
"I will not do that."
"Yes, you are, I put on the damn sweater, you feed me, and that is if you want to get to the golf course."
Liam grumbles but picks up the juice and the sandwich, unwrapping it. I start driving and Liam puts the juice in front of my face allowing me to drink some through the straw.
I hear giggling coming from the backseat and look in the rearview mirror. Mason, Corey and Harper are frantically typing on their phones, exchanging glances every now and then.
